Hacko is a senior officer and counselor of the crew Transcendence and prince of the flag Aquarius on the Emerald Ocean.

Biographical information

Hacko is a Greek puzzler who began his career on Sage the 29th of April 2007. Taking an interest mainly in Carpentry at first, he quickly came to enjoy Bilging as well. He also found interest in parlor games, helping him to earn some pieces of eight, enough to make a good start.

As a greenie he spent his first weeks of play without a crew, until meeting Kneiss who recognised his puzzling skills and invited him to join Poseidon's Tricorne. As an active pirate, he managed to fully memorise the Sage ocean in the first 6 months of his pirate career. He continued being active, participating in numerous Sea monster hunts and blockades with his flag League of Light. During early May of 2010, his flag assigned him as governor of Kakraphoon Island, an honourable title he served until the 3rd of July 2010.

Along the way he made a lot of good friends, but one and most important of all was Melina. They immediately found out they share the same passion and prospective for the game and did endless hours of puzzling together since then. They also shared valuable puzzle tips, which helped them both in achieving high ranks, especially in crafting puzzles. Eventually, along with some of his best friends, decided to make their own crew, resulting in his departure from Poseidon's Tricorne after being a Senior Officer for many years.

In late 2015, real life issues forced him to quit the game for almost 10 years, until the early 2024 which was the year he ended his long retirement. Since then, his main goal was to achieve the OMNIS trophy, which was his ultimate goal since the early days. Upon his return, he was only missing two puzzles, Battle Navigation and Patching. Ultimately, on 27th of February 2025 he managed to achieve ultimate level in all puzzles and finally fulfilled his ultimate goal, almost 2 months before his 18th in-game "birthday".

He is a passionate trinket collector and he enjoys spending time with his old time friends, pillaging and hunting Krakens once in a while. His flag Aquarius owns a grandiose pirate hall which he and his fellow flag-mates use it as their home, spending enjoyable time there.
