League of Light is a flag on the Emerald Ocean formerly of Sage. It was founded by Kneiss on March 8th, 2006 after a short period of time in a placeholder flag.
As of August 29th, 2006 the flag was ranked 5th in fame and has been at the ocean's top since.
Public statement
League of Light is an old flag that has gone through a phase in our flag life. That phase has meant some re-assessment of where we want to go for the future, and for that assessment to happen we had to stand still for a bit and think. The thinking has been done, the standing has turned into a slow jogging and soon we will be running as before. Rawr!
As a flag we are known for our friendliness. The /fo chat is known to be chatty and this is one of the means by which to make friends within the flag. We have a diverse group of flag members and crews who all enjoy a variety of things: pokering, pillaging, CI, smh, chatting, and so forth. In addition to our flag members being diverse in their interests, they are also from all across the world. We have at least one member from each of the continents, which means you are unlikely to log on to find no one from the flag online. Diversity keeps things interesting. While our members can be quite different from each other, they all share a common interest: the game and all that it offers us.

October 7th 2006 - Scrimshaw Island governed by Ordunio was won in a 3 round blockade against Hardcore Explorers and Candy Coated Chaos
December 16th 2006 - Kiwara Island and Penobscot Island were both won in 3 round blockades against Les Aristocrates in retaliation for LA dropping a chest on Scrimshaw Island. League of Light also successfully defended Scrimshaw Island at the same time.
January 8th 2007 - Kiwara Island and Penobscot Island were transferred to Fearless Privateers and Eternal Glory respectively.
May 20th 2007 - Amity Island was won in a 5 round blockade against Passive Aggression.
August 6th 2007 - Wissahickon Island was transferred from Candy Coated Chaos after League of Light won a bumper sloop event blockade.
February 9th 2008 - Scrimshaw Island was not defended and taken by Good Grief in a 4 round blockade.
February 17th 2008 - Admiral Island was won in a 3 round blockade against Passive Aggression.
March 1st 2008 - Admiral Island and Wissahickon Island were lost in a multidrop
March 8th 2008 - Admiral Island was won in a 3 round blockade against the Brigand King crew Black Veil.
April 5th 2008 - Admiral Island was successfully defended in a 3 round blockade against Undeclared.
May 18th 2008 - Amity Island was succesfully defended in a 3 round blockade against Undeclared.
May 31st 2008 - Amity Island was succesfully defended in a 3 round blockade against Good Grief.
