Explorer class ships have one of the following adjectives when delivered: Adventuring, Evolutionary, Excursionist, Expeditionary, Exploratory, Globetrotting, Roaming, or Sightseeing.

Rooms and furnishings

An Explorer class sloop has five scenes: the cabin, the club house, the crow's nest, the main deck, and the main hold. Unlike most limited edition ships, the navigation table is found in the main hold instead of the cabin.

The main deck comes pre-painted with grey railings, chocolate sideboards, and a chocolate hull. The crow's nest comes pre-painted with chocolate railings. The cabin comes pre-painted with grey walls and chocolate trim. The main hold comes pre-painted with grey railings, brown sideboards and trim, and chocolate walls. The club house comes pre-painted with brown railings and trim, and chocolate walls. The total paint required to recolor the Explorer class sloop is 264 units.
