The Howl class sloop is a limited edition ship that was available from shipyards from October 26th to November 30th, 2016.

Any swabbies that come aboard are werewolves, though they function as normal swabbies. Additionally, each ship comes with a werewolf NPP who remains aboard the ship permanently. It does not count as a crew member.

Howl class ships have one of the following adjectives when delivered: Devouring, Feral, Grizzled, Growling, Hairy, Howling, Lycanthropic, Moonstruck, Rending, Shapeshifting, Snarling, or Tearing.

Trivia

Due to a bug that was fixed within a few hours of the ship becoming available, it is possible to own a Howl class sloop that only has one carpentry station. A bugged ship can be swapped for one which has both carpentry stations by petitioning.

This corner is missing its carpentry station, resulting in the entire Howl class sloop having only one carpentry station.
