The Smuggler class sloop is a limited edition ship available from the shipyards in July 2012. It was available on the Obsidian Ocean in November 2018. The design and layout is quite a bit different from a normal sloop.

Smuggler class ships have one of the following adjectives when delivered: Bootlegging, Concealed, Cunning, Hidden, Hoodwinking, Lurking, Nameless, Prowling, Racketeering, Secret, Shrouded, Silent, Slinking, Streetwise, or Swindling.

Rooms and furnishings

A Smuggler class sloop has six scenes: The cabin, the main deck, the fore hold, the aft hold, the secret hold (providing access from the aft hold to the cabin), and the crow's nest.

The sloop comes pre-painted with black railings and grey sideboard and hull. The total paint required to recolour this sloop is 235.

The cannons on the main deck are bronze.

Of the many sloops available, the Smuggler class sloop is currently one of the few with six scenes (the other is the Alice class sloop); it is also the only sloop that allows the vessel's owner access to the 'railing' and 'sideboard' paint color menu items in an indoor scene (the cabin), for the purpose of recoloring the decorative cannon ball prop items.
