Specialization Knowledge Tips
301 Official Specialization name: Pillage Stocking-Jobbing-Dividing-Restocking Management
Pillage When you tired producing, trading or leading, get yourself involved in battling... :))
Starting the Pillage CHOOSE the AIMS, DURATION and the first ROUT of the pillage or choose TYPE of Pillage:
  • A

Single short battle for "quick" PoE - fast grapple with excellent fray performance, without warring about the Battle navigation standing (alt using is recommended)

  • B

Short pillage with short battles

  • C1

Long pillage with short battles

  • D

Single normal/long battle with excellent/good Battle navigation, without warring about the fray - aiming "max/full damage - zero".

  • E

Short pillage with normal battles

  • F1

Long pillage with normal battles

  • C2

'C' + doing expedition(s) with maps from the Explorers' hall or from the Black box

  • C3

'C' or 'C-2' + re-charting, avoiding battles with aiming the best or nearest port, transporting valued/expensive commodities (as Kraken's blood) for selling/transfering...

  • C 4

'C' + avoiding "battle brigands/barbarians" with PvP attentions and "hunting"

  • F2

'F' + doing expedition(s) with maps from the Explorers' hall or from the Black box

  • F3

'F' or 'F-2' + re-charting, avoiding battles with aiming port transporting valued commodities...

  • F4

'F' + avoiding "battle brigands/barbarians" with PvP attentions and "hunting".

! NOTICE:

  • The fast grappling with battling score "0-0" or worst (0-2...) could make the fray longer that you expected, without any guaranties for final success
  • Investing time in good battle navigation efforts will make the fray shorter with almost 99% of success.
  • The TYPE of the PILLAGE, represented here in this chart with letters (A,B, C1, D), could be used within the Configuration of the voyage as editing and updaeting the Jobbing tell - writing the particular letter (+number) in it, and these both actions/settings will represent 100% the 'PTP' on the Notice board - at least for those for whom this classification is familiar.

Several FACTORS about the good choosing and planing the TYPE of Pillage (the AIMS, DURATION and the first ROUT):

  • Current personal free time
  • Current crew's, flag's/alliance's issues and needs
  • Current time till reboot
  • Current pirates online
  • Current amount of jobbing offers
  • Current amount and location of vessels at sea
  • Current Yer known world, Charts possession or memorized League points
  • Numbers of crew members, flag members and hearties online, which could support the pillage
  • Knowledge of about appropriate routs at the current time to avoid not-wished PvP engagements
  • Access to several classes of Ships on different ports
  • Ability to execute the instructions of the Officer bulletin board of unlocked ship
  • Ability to chart a course or asking for assistance
  • Ability to calculate the appropriate amount of rum and cannonballs for the Planned Type of Pillage (PTP) - A, B, C...)
  • Possibility to invest personal PoE in stock at the start or re-stock at the end
  • Ability to set sails undermanned or alone on Sloop
  • Ability to manage multitasking during the sea battle or at sea with vessel's damage
  • Current weapons for the Swordfight and Rumble frays
  • Ability to jobbing and calling all hands on board
Ships basic knowledge:
  • Damage: Shot, ram and rock damage
Pirates should make the difference between them
  • Ability to count the current damage of the used and opponent's ship in battle will improve the battling stage performance and the battle navigation standing
Useful Pillage instructions: Olympian Armada has many experienced pillagers and Officer trainers and they could help the pirates, which asked them for assistance, but the best way to gain personal experience is just to set sails on Sloop... which way could take more time with precious value...
Finding a Boat to Use The best way for the pillagers is to own personal ships, but in case they have not, they could ask from other crew members, the higher ranked officers or captain to unlock ship for pillage use, which location responding well to the 'PTP'
Boarding a ship from the Dock Pirates should always ask for Permission to board (PTB) at least for small vessels, if they want to board them, rather than starting their own pillage
Stocking Officers should ask for assistance from higher ranks for the stocking/restocking/transfer responding well to the 'PTP'
Configure voyage This act will represent in some way the 'PTP' on the Notice board
Chart a course or receiving charting help ...folloing the 'PTP'
Jobbing Jobbers should responding well to the planned type of pillage (PTP)
Dividing The final payment judgement should be fair according to 'PTP' and based on Duty reports of the jobbers (or crew members, which was involved in the pillage)
Restocking Management According to the ship owner's will
302 Official Specialization name: Pillage Engagement Management
Useful Engagement Documentation: The pillagers should read all what they saw as information connected to pillage at all and try to find more general information about every single segment of knowledge, which is posted in this chart!
Crow's nest The Crow's nest is not random and useless design... Those who will reject to use it or simply ignoring it will suffer...
Deport Deporting will make the rest easier and predictable...
Might ring The pillagers will pay attention, if they don't want to engage a much stronger opponent.
Using the vessel panel for RECOGNIZING the ships' CLASSES and their BELONGING with: Navy, Brigands/Barbarians, Merchants, PLAYERS - with their crew and flag names! in case you see a player's vessel check carefully their crew, flag and board list of pirates within their CO... for more check the Specialization #324 - PvP Small Ship Navigator ...
Radar Using the Navigation table or better Yer known world being at the Crow's nest, the pillager will 'scanning' the sea area closest to his ship...
  • This option is useful in several other specializations...
Set sails The "Sail" button, which gets the ship going to the charted course.
Auto-targeting The "Auto-Target Ships" tick box, which enables or disables auto-targeting.
Jobbing status during sailing at sea
PTB The Flag require players to ask permission to board (often abbreviated 'Permission to board' - PTB) before they board a at least single mast ship classes.
Pursuit This is the art of the engagement and the personal experience will teach anyone...
Turn about ...to avoid or intercepted other ship...
Disengage The "Disengage" button, which replaces the "Attack" button during the pursuit stage of sea battle.
Attack The "Attack" button, which is used to initiate the pursuit stage of sea battle
Jobbers management during the engagement management or sailing at sea They should working on stations which the commanding pillager or the CO was told/ordered them.
  • Better to ask them rather giving orders and giving them enough time for good Duty report.

Strategies and Tactics
LSM This can be the key to successful battle navigation. Opponents in sea battle can see how many of the turns their opponent is making a move or firing. It is believed that computer opponents can see even more than this and will be given extra time to place their moves if you use a last second move more than once in a battle. Why give your enemies all of your secrets? This will help you understand some of the tactics that follow. Be warned, if you use this tactic too often against brigands they will reciprocate and use it in kind.
