The Steam class sloop is a limited edition ship available from the shipyards in May 2012. It was available on the Obsidian Ocean in September 2018. The design and layout is quite a bit different from a normal sloop.

Steam class ships have one of the following adjectives when delivered: Anachronistic, Automatic, Bolted, Brass, Burnished, Clockwork, Copper, Geared, Industrial, Mechanized, Metal, Plated, Riveted, Steamed, Ticking, Tin, or Wind-Up.
