The battle axe is a type of sword, used by the Brigand King Brynhild Skullsplitter, as well as vikings. It has also been seen as part of a tournament configuration [1]. The drop pattern is thought to be similar to that of the cleaver. It cannot be produced at an iron mongers, and no pirate has been known to own one.

It shares its pattern with the backsword.
