Infierno De los Diablos is a flag on the Meridian Ocean prominent on the Viridian Ocean throughout 2005, initiating and participating in many blockades under the leadership of Antix.

History

Infierno De los Diablos (translated: "Hell of the Devils") is a Viridian flag, founded on March 17, 2005, originally as The Royal Marines. However under Antix's rule, the flag's name was changed to Infierno De los Diablos.

At the height of its fame in 2005, the flag achieved 1,200 flag members making it the most active and highest populated flag on the ocean.

They would initially rely heavily on their superior member numbers to outjob their opponents on the blockade board, as the flag and it's leader was relatively inexperienced in comparison to their opposition at the time such as Scupperer of Scuppering Seven Seas and Tristan of Pay for Play.

Infierno De los Diablos was also known to rely on outsourcing experienced blockade navigators from the Midnight Ocean, some of those known to have assisted were players such as Looseweed, Whitefire, Tawnee and Sweetiepiepi. In return Antix offered his flags jobbing support to Notorious Fandango when required on the Midnight Ocean, known to be one of the early and unofficial cross-ocean alliances.

They became the first flag to colonize a large island in doubloon ocean history at Kirin I.

The flag was disbanded in February 2006 shortly after the loss of Terra Island. It was briefly recreated on June 7, 2006. It returned to activity following a prolonged dormancy when Antix was unbanned in early 2008.

Unfortunately sometime between 2008 and 2009 the flag was hijacked by another pirate and renamed to Nihongo Wakarimasen while Antix was dormant.

Antix recreated the flag on May 27, 2010 although it would remain dormant for some time until 2017, when Infierno De los Diablos participated in their first blockade for 9 years, winning Moab Island.

Due to its significant size in 2005, the flag is known to have been the starting place for many pirates in the early days of the Viridian Ocean. One of the most notable pirates being Monlizzy who would later go on to found her own flag Imperial Coalition, arguably one of the most successful flags on the ocean. Antix celebrated Monlizzy’s longevity and success by commissioning a portrait titled "The Ultimate Monarch". [1]

The flag continues to exist to this day but as of the year 2020 remains dormant.
