Crew-hopper is the informal way of naming a pirate who changes crews often, not keeping loyalty to any. While some may simply be searching for a crew that follows certain principles and where they fit in, others prove to be in search of gullible mates to take advantage of. Or, as in the case of Miser on the viridian ocean, they just have too many friends to stay in one place.
