Oyster Island is a large island located in the Diamond Archipelago. There are three known routes from the island: Winter Solstice, Alpha Island, and an inter-archipelago route to Park Island in the Coral Archipelago. There is also an extinct training route encircling the island.
Natural Resources
This island spawns elderberries and hemp. These resources can be bid on at the market.

History
Oyster I - 2004-5-01, Eccezionale won control of Oyster in an uncontested blockade.
Oyster II - 2004-8-21, Ship for Brains blockaded Oyster; the island was successfully defended by Eccezionale in seven rounds.
2005-08-23, Oyster was ceded to Nidiata Dei Draghi by Eccezionale.
Oyster III - 2004-9-17, the alt flag Nidiata Dei Buri in conjunction with Buri Armada, blockaded Oyster, Park, and Winter simultaneously. All were defended easily.
2006-05-01, Nidiata Dei Draghi merged into Broadsiders, giving Broadsiders control of the island.
Oyster IV - 2006-11-11 Broadsiders defended Oyster against Notorious Fandango in 3 rounds.
Oyster V - 2007-5-5, Blighted blockaded Oyster in a four round non-sinking blockade. Rounds one and two were one to each flag, with Blighted winning the following two. All rounds were hotly contested and close.
Oyster VI - 2007-6-16, Vargas the Mad, a Brigand King, blockaded Oyster, the first time a Brigand King blockaded any island. Blighted won the blockade in three rounds, having totally obliterated Vargas' forces during round two, leaving the third round completely battleless.
In December 2007, Blighted raffled off the island. The island was transferred on January 7, 2008 to the winning flag, Midnight Marauders.
Oyster VII - 2009-5-16, Brigand King Barnabas the Pale blockaded Oyster, defeating Midnight Marauders in three rounds.
Oyster VIII - 2009-5-24, Barnabas defended Oyster against Burning Vengance in three rounds. Burning Vengance pulled out of the blockade after only one round.
Oyster IX - 2009-5-31, Barnabas the Pale again successfully defended the island against Burning Vengance, winning in four rounds.
Oyster X - 2009-6-6, Barnabas defeated Veracious Tenacity in three rounds to continue controlling the island.
Oyster XI - 2009-6-13, Carpe Noctem defeated Barnabas the Pale in five rounds to take control of Oyster.
