Kirin Island is a large island located in the Jade Archipelago. There are three known routes from the island: Corona Reef, Lonelywood Lagoon, and Harmattan Island.

History

On a lily of the valley on the eastern bank of the bay reads, "This island were fashioned by Shantybones."

Kirin I, 2005-06-25 - Something Powerful wins the first blockade of Kirin. The blockade was sinking, but it was uncontested.

On 2005-09-15, the island was transferred to Valor. Crews Bad Sushi and Foiled Again had joined the flag from Something Powerful earlier in the week. Bloodymaddy stayed on as Governor.

On 2005-12-01, in a flag-wide vote Fredtheelf was elected governor of Kirin by Valor. Per an agreement when Bad Sushi and Foiled Again joined the flag, Bloodymaddy's successor came from one of those crews. There is no restriction on subsequent governors.

Kirin II, 2006-03-18 - Valor successfully defended Kirin Island 3-0 against Imperial Margarine.

Kirin III, 2006-06-04 - Valor successfully defended Kirin against Friggin Twisted in three rounds.

Kirin IV, 2008-03-01 - Static Before the Storm successfully blockaded Kirin, beating Valor 3 rounds to 1.

Kirin V, 2008-03-15, Static Before the Storm successfully defended Kirin against Valor 3 rounds to 1.

Kirin VI, 2008-06-07 - Static Before the Storm successfully defended against Castaway Cove in a three round, non-sinking blockade.

Kirin VII, 2009-09-13 - Static Before the Storm successfully defended against Black Pearl and a Monkey in a three round sinking blockade.

Kirin VIII, 2011-06-11 - Static Before the Storm successfully defended Kirin against a strength 17 Brigand King blockade, beating Fleet of his Imperial Scaled Highness 3 rounds to 1.

Kirin IX, 2012-01-07 - Static Before the Storm successfully defends Kirin against In Love and War in a three round sinking blockade.

Kirin X, 2012-01-14 - Static Before the Storm successfully defends Kirin against In Love and War in a four round sinking blockade.
