The /royalty command, or royalty chat, allows the monarch and royal members of a flag to communicate with one another.

Usage

Royalty chat messages have the following syntax:

/royalty <message> (/ro)

Royalty chat can not be combined with the three modifier commands /think, /shout, and /emote.

Royalty chat messages take the following form in the chat window:

Piratename flag royalty chats, "Message"

All royalty chat messages are shown in the chat window, with their borders having jagged zigzagged edges on either side of the message. They use the following colors:

Who can use this command

  • This command is only available to the monarch and royalty of a flag. No badge or subscription is needed to access this command in addition to the flag position.
  • Royalty and monarchs may continue to use this chat even if they have been blackspotted.

Who can hear messages sent with this command

  • Only royalty and the monarch can hear the chat messages sent with this command. They must be in the same flag as the sender in order to hear the message.
  • If one pirate has muted another, that first pirate will be unable to hear the muted pirate regardless of what channel the muted pirate talks in.
