Lagniappe Island is a large island in the Jet Archipelago. There are three known routes from the island: Xi Island, Dugong Island, and Rhinoceros Ridge.
Natural resources
This island spawns butterfly weed, sincosite, and sugar cane. These can be bid at the market.

History
Lagniappe Island was originally located on the Midnight Ocean. The Lagniappe Island monument is located on the northern side of the island.
On 2005-04-20, the Ringers placed a market on Lagniappe.[1]
Lagniappe I — 2005-08-13, Lagniappe is opened. Dark Judgement and Heavens Aligned both drop a chest. Dark Judgement won in four hard fought rounds.
On 2005-08-14, Colonization began with the placement of The House of the Rising Sun, a fort, and the beginning of the Lousiana/Bayou/Mardi Gras Theme.
On 2007-01-29, the crews of Dark Judgement left and joined Crimson Tide. The island was transferred to Crimson Tide control.
Lagniappe II — 2008-08-09, Midnight Marauders attacked Lagniappe, winning the blockade in four rounds.
Lagniappe III — 2008-08-24, Crimson Tide attacked the island, re-taking the island in five rounds. Midnight Marauders returned the war declaration before the start of round 4 making the blockade sinking.
Lagniappe IV — 2010-8-29, Crimson Tide successfully defended the island against Tyr's Own in a three round non-sinking blockade.
Lagniappe V — 2010-9-12, after leaving Crimson Tide, Annaleese and her new flag of Tyr's Own dropped a chest on the island, winning control in a four round non-sinking blockade.
Lagniappe VI — 2011-6-26, Tyr's Own successfully defended the island against Brigand King Vargas the Mad.
