2010 Halloween events
The 2010 Halloween events began on the 12th of October, 2010, with the re-release of Halloween-themed furniture and black limited-edition pets, along with the new small black dog, in the palace shoppe. Masks could be purchased beginning on the 20th - including two new masks - before the main event, Wraithly Raiders, began on the 22nd.
Wraithly Raiders
Pirates in all oceans were divided into four teams - pirates from the same crew were all placed in the same team. The team names each made reference to a type of ghost. Pirates participated by defeating individual brigands and barbarians while on a pillage - each pirate also won individual trophies for the number of brigands or barbarians eliminated by the ships they were on. This meant that pillages with larger ships would contribute more to the team, as greater numbers of individuals would be encountered per battle.
During the course of the event, all brigands and barbarians (save those aboard Brigand King vessels) wore masks. To help pirates in pillaging with their team-mates, all jobs on the notice board included the team icon of the crew offering the job. The standings for each team were regularly tallied and updated on a special "Competition!" tab of the notice board.
Results
Trophies were awarded to the participating members of each team who finished in each position.
