- This article is about the chat command. For the building, see House.
The /house command allows all pirates within the same house to communicate with one another. This chat is only available when a pirate is in a house, and is the default chat mode. Messages are displayed in the chat window.
Usage
The House command has the following syntax:
- /house <message> (/ho)
The House command can be combined with the three modifier commands - /think, /shout, and /emote:
- /house /think <message>
- /house /shout <message>
- /house /emote <message>
Appearance in-game
Messages sent via House chat take the following forms:
- Piratename says, "Message"
- Piratename thinks, "Message" (When combined with /think)
- Piratename shouts, "Message" (When combined with /shout)
- Piratename Message (When combined with /emote)
All House messages are shown in the chat window. House message borders are house-shaped. They use the following colors:
| Color | RGB (hex) | Component |
|---|---|---|
| #F4F6F5 | Text background | |
| #181818 | Border |
Who can use this command
- Any pirate inside a house may use this command. Pirates who have been blackspotted can not use the House command for a short time.
Who can hear messages sent with this command

- If one pirate has muted another, that first pirate will be unable to hear the muted pirate regardless of what channel the muted pirate talks in.
