Emailing will get you nowhere if it is a temp ban for a set amount of time. There is no such thing as being able to enter the game earlier than your temp ban allows. Wait it out and contemplate your behaviour during that time. --Guppymomma 07:42, 4 March 2006 (PST)

PORTRAIT QUESTION

Does anyone know if you can take the frame off from a portrait without losing the picture?

Also if you have edited the picture to appear on your info panel can you then frame it and hang it up without it dissappearing from that panel?

When you frame a portrait, it can no longer be displayed on your info page. It is not possible to de-frame it one it has been framed. --Icex05 16:18, 6 March 2006 (PST)

Highlightable Crew/Flag pages

After editing numerous Crew and Flag pages on the wiki, when sourcing the Public Statement, I've found that sometimes I am able to highlight and copy it direct from the info page in the game, and other times I can't. Is there any other way to view or get a highlightable version of crew/flag pages - I remember seeing a webpage version of a crew page once... --Sagacious 13:16, 13 March 2006 (PST)

You'll probably have to do some random clicking on flags and alliances to find an individual crew, but here are the external webpages for the Dread Ringers crew: Midnight, Cobalt, Virdian, Sage, Ice. A good start, if the crew or flag has relatively high fame, might be the fame pages: Midnight, Cobalt, Viridian, Sage, Ice

Creating Templates

Hoy i'm trying to create a infobox for users, similar to the "infobox Crew", i'm having problems for it to work, i've followed all the rules of editing and I even went to the edidting help page, but it still did'n tell me how to make one work.

this is my template (i've put on ignore wiki formating so you can what i type)

It's something to do with references etc. I've not tried to make a template yet, but I think I'll have a play. Basically the template page itself should have the table on it, with lots of {{{item}}} tags. Then on the page you want the template to appear on, you put the code you pasted above this post, with each item referencing to one of the {{{name}}} tags. --Sagacious 13:50, 13 March 2006 (PST)

If you highlight the booty panel, you should see four clothing categories. Click and expand the "feet" tab. You can then click on the boots and select "wear." --Yaten talk 13:46, 14 March 2006 (PST)

Crew info

Ahoy

Sorry for my bad editing,but i dont know really how to put info about my crew. I am verz confused. I tried it in sandbox too but maybe bad. I need your help very very much.

BTW could you delete my bad crew for crews info? I dont know how to delete it. A nd i dont konw how change naming of first level text.Help please

The best way to go about creating your own crew page is to look for another crew that already has a page, and click on the "Edit this page" tab. Then you will see the format that needs to be followed. Just cut and paste the section which starts with the curly brackets and infobox and ends with the final closing curly brackets. Then substitute the crew and pirate names there with the ones specific to your crew. --Redbeardsage
That's correct, but with one clarification. Do not change the text of the existing page. Create a new page with the name of your crew and paste the changed text into that page. --Barrister 10:57, 20 March 2006 (PST)

My friends name got banned plz help

My friend's name got banned Is there any way he can get it back?

If they have been banned, you could try emailing banpleading@puzzlepirates.com. It really depends on why they were banned, as there must have been a reason for such action to be taken. Try reading the article on Bans or the forum thread for more information. If it was a less serious offense, they may have had their account temporarily suspended and will have to wait a certain period of time before they are allowed access to the game again. --Sagacious 16:43, 22 March 2006 (PST)

How do I get my crew on multiple oceans?

I have noticed that several crews are on multiple oceans, Are these crews moving their pirates from ocean to ocean? If So, how do I do this? And I'm sorry if this is in the arcives. I couldn't get a result when searching. --Thepiratebob 04:33, 28 March 2006 (PST)

They may simply be different crews that coincidentally have the same name on a different ocean. They may be the same crew personnel, who have migrated over to another ocean for whatever reason. There is no way to transfer crews or pirates over to another ocean. They have to be manually re-started on each individiual one. --Redbeardsage
