This was made by User:Piripuwa for own use. Anyone can use this template. However please don't forget below:
  • Piripuwa may irregularly update it
  • You should use it like {{subst:template name...}}
  • If you use it with {{subst:}}, too much unnecessary　strings as template code may expand to the article.

This template can display Template:infobox_pirate, User:Piripuwa/Template:Sentence_POS(first line summarizing the pirate's information), Template:Oceans, and Template:piratestub.

Basic fields

name default value note
piratename Required. A pirate's name as it would appear in-game.
ocean1 Requied. An ocean which the pirate mainly plays..

Optional fields

name default value note
categorize yes If set "categorize=yes", Template:oceans will be available. If omitted, you should include template:oceans into a pirate page manually.
infobox yes If set "infobox=yes", Template:infobox_pirate will be displayed. If omitted, you should include template:infobox_pirate into a pirate page manually.
opening-sentence no If set "opening-sentence=yes", User:Piripuwa/Template:Sentence_POS will be available.
stub no If set "stub=yes", this template will include Template:Stub. And a page which include this template will be included in Category:Pirate stubs.
portrait no If omitted, no portrait will be displayed. Set "portrait=yes" if the pirate has a portrait uploaded to Image:Pirates-Piratename.jpg.
galleries 1 The number of oceans on which the pirate has galleries. For each ocean required.
rank1 Rank of the pirate on his/her mainly crew .
title Title of the pirate on his/her mainly crew .
crew Independent pirate Name of a crew which pirate joins on mainly ocean. .
flag Name of a flag which the crew have joined on mainly ocean.
role member role of your pirate on mainly ocean.
oceanX The activity place from the second to the tenth of the pirate. (optional)
rankX The pirate's rank on the oceanX.
custom You can include more informations into the infoboxes via the this field.

Pet and Trinket

name default value note
pet no Include if you have a single pet which you especially care for. You can find a list of pets that can be used with this template and the colors that are valid for them at Category:My pet templates.
pettype Type of the pirate's displayed pet.
petname Name of the pet. If set "pettype=yes", this will be available.
petcolor1 Color1 of the pet. If set "pettype=yes", this will be available.
petcolor2 Color2 of the pet. If set "pettype=yes", this will be available.
petcolor3 Color3 of the pet. If set "pettype=yes", this will be available.
trinket no Include if you have a single trinket of which you're very proud. Include colors even if they're not shown on the wiki, in case the trinkets are updated later. You can find a list of trinkets that can be used with this template and the colors that are valid for them at Category:My trinket templates.
trinkettype type of pirate's displayed trinket. If set "trinkettype=yes", this will be available.
trinketcolor1 the trinket color1. If set "trinkettype=yes", this will be available.
trinketcolor2 the trinket color2. If set "trinkettype=yes", this will be available.

Familiars

name default value note
familiars 0 Omit this field if the pirate has number familiars. If the pirate has one or more familiars, fill in the number for x. Then, fill in fam-type-x=, fam-ocean-x=, and fam-name-x= for each familiar won, replacing X for the number of the familiar in each instance.
fam-header This template will display a value of this field on familiar-box. If you don't set the value, this will display message "familiars won" on familiar-box, and the pirate page will be included in Category:Familiar winners.
fam-type-X Type of pirate's 1st to 10th familiar.
fam-ocean-X type of pirate's 1st to 10th familiar.
fam-name-X type of pirate's 1st to 10th familiar.

ingame-art-other Only include for pirates who have one or more game design trophy. If set this field, this template will display its value.
avatar-artist no Only for pirates who is an Avatar atrist.
aa-thread-id 41884 If you set "aa-thread-id=99999", this template will link to http://forums.puzzlepirates.com/community/mvnforum/viewthread?thread=99999
