Deeds

Let me point out a few things.

1. There shouldn't be two articles about the same subject with only the letter "s" differentiating the titles. It is standard to have all information at the singular frm of the word, as plurals can be formed simple by adding s to the end of the singular link. Ex. [[deed]]s, which displays as deeds, links directly to deed.
2. There are no island deeds. Islands are owned and controlled by flags, who elect a governor to rule for them. Islands cannot be traded except with the help of Ocean Masters.
3. The spelling and grammar of the deeds article needs work.
4. Much of the information you provide isn't fact. Some of it is opinion, and some of it is just wrong.

Some of the information could be added into the deed article, but the shipyard and lock articles cover some of your topics much better.

Also, as a matter of style you should only link the first occurence of a word on a page unless you've a very long page with dozens of subsections.--Fiddler 06:17, 19 June 2006 (PDT)

Building images

Hidey ho. Thanks for your interest in expanding parts of the wiki. For building images, please get shots without pirates in them and name them as Building-Ocean-Building Name using PNG format. Just a quick note. Please save and upload the building images as .PNG not .JPG - it is affecting the quality of the screenshots. You may have to re-take the screenshots to get the PNG quality back. Woot - one other thing. As Guppy said above, try to follow the general naming pattern for building screen shots - that is 'Building-<Ocean>-<Name>.PNG'. Building Information

Please don't add things like stall prices and sizes to pages about bazaars. Adding information about a specific bazaar is fine and well, but stall sizes are universal across every ocean and already avaliable at the pages about stalls, so having them on every bazaar page just to pad them out would be redundant and silly. :)--Ponytailguy 07:56, 19 June 2006 (PDT)

Ahoy there! I need to talk to you about your editing... don't worry, you're not in trouble, but we'd really appreciate it if you'd really give your edits some serious thought before you make them. It's great that you want to conribute to the YPPedia, and we love that you're working on pages like CiL that just plain didn't exist yet, but when users make major edits without previewing and thinking seriously about them, more often than not it creates work for the administrators more than it improves the YPPedia... and that's a problem for everyone. :-/

More Building Image Stuffs

The file names still need to be 'Building-<Ocean>-<Building name>.PNG - as a general naming rule. So 'Apothecary-Sage-Emancipotions.PNG' should be 'Building-Sage-Emancipotions.PNG' Also something has gone wrong with the uploading of that image. --Sagacious ^(talk) 09:29, 19 June 2006 (PDT)

I wouldn't want you keep uploading the wrong things only for them to be removed..again. The images need to be a slightly different name and need to be fixed as they appear to be booched. I think what you've tried to do is just modify the JPG screenshots. That won't work because the JPG images have lost quality. Even more...

Hurmph. It looks like you've just used your original .JPG images - and tried to convert them to .PNG - it not working. You will need to go re-take the screenshots and save them to .PNG directly. Saving to .JPG already tainted the image quality - and these modified .JPG images just aren't working. It will also let you remove the 'Enter' buttons using the ALT key - as Guppy mentioned several messages back. File names are spot on though :) --Sagacious ^(talk) 09:58, 19 June 2006 (PDT)

Go take new screenshots, save them under the .PNG format with the correct file names - and when you try to upload them, you will get a warning saying 'image already exists'. Clicking 'Save File' will overwrite the old image. --Sagacious ^(talk) 10:02, 19 June 2006 (PDT)

Contributions Section

A list of contributions to the wiki are more appropriate for User: namespace pages. Re: Littlebuddy cleanup

I didn't mark the article, but if I were personally looking to clean up the article, I'd do a couple things:

• Remove the "Current Status" header. Make that the intro paragraph, and bold the first (and only the first) occurrance of your pirate's name in the article.
• Rewrite sentences in modern English grammar, as opposed to in-game piratey grammar
• Most articles as short as that one qualify for a {{piratestub}} tag, prompting editors for more information on the pirate. If the article accurately represents your accomplishments, however, I'd personally rather leave it as is than just have fluff padding it out.

Please do not add images to pages for the sake of adding images to pages. I've reverted your edit to hold because the pictures you added added nothing to the article.
