Trilan
Trilan is a captain of the crew Absit Invidia and a titled member of the flag Moonshine on the Viridian Ocean. She's usually pillaging, plundering, and dishing out Tril Mix (trail mix with rum gummies) to those on board with her. When things get deadly she pulls out duct tape to patch things up.
Biography
Trilan fell out of the sky and landed heels-over-head in Sakejima Island's burning sands sometime in January 2010. Eventually the navy workers felt pity and hoisted her onto a ship... or maybe it was when one of them tripped over her that she was noticed... her creator had a bit too much rum to recall.
Nevertheless, Trilan worked off her gratuity and provided culinary services (mainly in the form of baked goods) during the trips from island to island. A jealous chef shoved her out of the kitchen and covered it up by claiming, "Jus' givin' the girl an opportunity ta work as a REAL pirate."
Startled by the world of piracy, Trilan quickly learned each station:
- Crab claws are not just food, they are painful when bilging!
- Splinters are ever present when carpenting, make sure to wear gloves and have duct tape in case of emergency.
- Blowing, fanning, and sailing by attempting to funnel air in a manner that does not involve working with the wind and ropes, is futile at best.
- Cannon balls intended for gunning are meant to put holes in enemy ships, not the floor.
Eventually the navy planked Trilan and uninformed crews began hiring her. Swearing she'd never join a crew because it would be too much responsibility, she decided swearing was bad and joined My Blue Heaven. After all, she found family and fun consistently when jobbing for them.
Whether the crew fell in love with her ideas or her rum-spiked cookies, she soared up the ranks to senior officer of My Blue Heaven within a week (possibly two). The experience lit the creative center of her brain (directly left of the rum center) and she developed Tril Mix - a delightful combination of dried fruits, nuts, chocolate pieces, and rum gummies. Sometime later she began her journey as a titled member of the flag Moonshine.
Goals swiftly became accomplishments and Trilan decided it was time to leave MBH so they could pursue "phase 2" (leadership roles) while she pursued "phase 2" of personal goals (experiencing the Moonshine crews and sharing the lessons learned in each with all of them). She spent time in Happily Deranged learning about crew styles and variances in leadership.
Unexpected shoves to forming a crew came, and Trilan created Absit Invidia with the help of Jaymez and her co-captain Clarityy.
Trilan often travels to some cursed isle, runs pillages, assists pillages, teaches when asked, and wanders the islands looking for good times and nice people (both highly abundant to her relief). Her greatest time spent, however, is always that with Clarityy.

- Receiving a blue daisy with card trinket stating: "Stay gold and always be blue :) Thank you for what you've done for the crew. Many thanks ~ Atlantisblue"
- Winning (and not noticing until the crew said congratulations) the best Fine in Chasing the Gold on February 21, 2010.
- Winning (and not realizing both categories were wins until she noticed she had 2 eggs and not one in her furniture section) #1 in bilging and #1 in distilling during the competition "A Full Basket of Eggs" on 4/1/2010 at 4:58 AM PDT on Viridian Ocean.
- Leaving MBH on 4/19/2010 after speaking with the individuals logged on about the things she was grateful for learning from each of them.
- Receiving warm thanks in the form of a forum message, cookies with a caring note, and poe she'll likely use for further crew/flag events on 4/20/2010.
- Creating Absit Invidia with Jaymez and Clarityy on May 6th, 2010.
