Talk:Brigand King

From YPPedia

I did what Fiddler did a week ago. =D -- Surasshu

I went ahead and removed the specific fruits from the list of kings. Last night on Ice when I compiled the list of sayings I had completely different fruits for each king; e.g. the Widow Queen had mangoes and Admiral Finius had pineapples.--Fiddler 05:26, 31 March 2006 (PST)

I stand corrected. Still, the fruits seem to stay the same, only varying between oceans. I feel like that imformation should still be included, but I can't come up with a way to do so that doesn't look clunky. If someone can come up with an organized way to list the fruits, I can fill in the fruits. PsychoDan

And I'm wrong again. The midnight fruits were changed by the reboot. PsychoDan 18:37, 31 March 2006 (PST)

Last edit

I rolled back the last couple edits. The post made by Roparzh that was referenced said that it was a bug that brigand king ships are not flagged correctly at this time, and judging from that post, the way the article is written is the way things are supposed to be, even if they presently aren't. --Thunderbird 12:29, 3 April 2006 (PDT)

Oh. --Jessess 12:32, 3 April 2006 (PDT)

And now that I gave the post another look over, the article is actually correct as it stands. Brigand Kings are still on ships which are flagged appropriately, just that some ships flagged as Brigand King don't actually have a king on them. This is exactly what the article states. --Thunderbird 12:33, 3 April 2006 (PDT)
I thought it did because in its early stages on ice it was marked <brigand king>--Jessess 12:40, 3 April 2006 (PDT)
That's not how I'm reading it. I just asked for clarification in the thread. Plus, I think the article should be re-written for clarity.--Fiddler 12:41, 3 April 2006 (PDT)
The way I read it, all ships are supposed to be marked <Brigands> out of battle (not counting barbarians/merchants). I think the bug was in two parts: 1) Ships were getting flagged <Brigand King> before battle, and 2) Incorrect ships were getting flagged. --Drc500free 12:41, 3 April 2006 (PDT)

Backgrounds

Do we want to post the special "king" SF/Rumble backgrounds? They're stored in plain .png format in the rsrc directory, so they're not difficult to acquire, just a question of whether we want to spoil that surprise for players. --Rixation 21:49, 7 April 2006 (PDT)

The backgrounds would be fine, I think. The could be thumbnailed in another column in the table to show who uses which. --Guppymomma 09:45, 8 April 2006 (PDT)
Wouldn't screenshots be better? Although they may be difficult to get hold of, I'm sure we'll get them eventually. --Sagacious 10:01, 8 April 2006 (PDT)
Dunno. My thought would be that using the image allows you to admire the entire thing without little blocks or pirates in the way. --Guppymomma 10:04, 8 April 2006 (PDT)
If I had like a spare few hours i'd morph a normal blockset onto the new background...bah bad idea. I suppose seeing the background in all its glory is cool, but are the normal blank backgrounds represented somewhere on the wiki? --Sagacious 10:08, 8 April 2006 (PDT)
Dunno. They could be though :) --Guppymomma 10:29, 8 April 2006 (PDT)

Fruit Theory

Perhaps yer more likely to encounter a brigand king if ye got the right kind of fruit aboard? I might have to do some research into that one...
--Mystery09

When was the fruits column added in next to the kings? Sticking a type of fruit to a particular king is incorrect, because the fruits change everytime the king gets beaten, or after each day, and is indeed different across all oceans. In fact, bringing the fruit relevant to a particular king (as tipped by the Old Salt) may spawn a different king, so this kind of info is also irrelevant. I'd go and remove the fruits column if I knew how.
--Andi kan 06:36, 6 July 2006 (PDT)

Here is what I think about the fruits: the Wiki pages for the fruits show where they can be foraged (an archipelago) and where they can be sold (various island markets.) Now, Brigand Kings aren't 'attracted' by fruits on board, because who is attacking whom here? Brigand Kings show up more or less because we ask for it--much like finding the Black Ship in place of a poor innocent blue sloop. We've probably interrupted their foraging, erm, gathering activities and they're angry at the competition...

--chupchup 07:28, 16 October 2006 (PDT)

I was just in the Inn and was trying to get the trophie for the Drink and Map and when I was paying the Old Salt it stayed on the same fruit for the different Kings so im thinking that you can get any king with no fruit but using a certin fruit will lure in that certin king more so than others EX: no fruit all same chance, fruit they want and the chance for that King goes up but is not 100%

--Cheesedawg 3:39, October 2006 (PDT)

After fighting each BK countless times, and acquiring several of the trinkets, I'm pretty sure that Chupchup's right, the Brigand King can just be located in the arch that their fruit is in. Brigand king A is hunting Rambutan, I'll find them in the Rambutan Arch.. Consistently.

--helpmeout 9:27, November 2006 (PDT)

Vargas?

I've heard an old salt say:
"Have ye ever met Vargas the Mad? I've never seen anyone eat so many Passion fruit in me life."

Anyone else ever heard of this "Vargas the Mad?"
(Also, this was on Hunter) --Cloak' 07:20, 21 April 2006 (PDT)

While it's possible that there will be another King, it's odd that the ...\rsrc\bundles\components\face\kings directory doesn't include any names other than the 4 already listed. --Rixation 07:29, 21 April 2006 (PDT)
I'm guessing he'll be the anticipated "rumble-only" king. The name probably got added to the old-salt list by accident.--Fiddler 07:43, 21 April 2006 (PDT)
A new directory named "Vargas" was added with the rest of the kings around the time of the Barbarian release; additionally, a new background image was added labelled "Barbarian King!" (as opposed to the previous text of "Brigand King!". There is also an extra set of trinkets located in ...rsrc\bundles\media\yohoho-general\media\yohoho\icons\items\trinkets\12.png that does not match any of the known King trinkets so far. --Rixation(t/c) 08:08, 14 June 2006 (PDT)
I'm just wondering, is it confirmed that vargas really is a Barbarian only king? If so a note that Vargas is a barbarian king only might need to be added.

Vargas the Mad's prescense is confirmed. But his face is presently bugged. --Thunderbird 13:36, 17 June 2006 (PDT)

It's possible Vargas might have been removed in a past update until the art gets put into place...anybody seen him recently? The trinkets from him appear to be in place already (12.png contains 4 trinkets, and none of them match the trinkets that are known from any other king...those are all in different files). Also, based on the trinket files, Finius is the only king with 5 trinkets, the others only have 4. --Thunderbird 22:56, 14 July 2006 (PDT)

Inscriptions

Have the trinkets always been auto-inscribed, or was this added in a patch? --Emufarmers 21:26, 19 May 2006 (PDT)

Always, I'm presuming. Judging from some of the screenshots on Ice when the trinket was a fancy ribbon. --Thunderbird 21:28, 19 May 2006 (PDT)
My fancy ribbon on Ice was inscribed in just that fashion. I never added it to the article because I wanted to see it on a production ocean first. BK information is still rare enough that we'll likely be adding to this for the rest of the year.--Fiddler 21:30, 19 May 2006 (PDT)
It is indeed auto-inscribed. The trinkets work just like skelly trinkets, in that only the person whose name is on it can use it in a portrait. --Fannon 22:22, 19 May 2006 (PDT)

Widow Queen trinkets

Could someone please re-upload those 2 trinkets in their default green color, rather than red? They're located in "...\rsrc\bundles\media\yohoho-general\media\yohoho\icons\items\trinkets\13.png". Also, the ones currently uploaded appear to have white backgrounds rather than transparent. --Rixation(t/c) 07:37, 14 June 2006 (PDT)

I just fixed the backgrounds. Don't know if it is worth cutting up the media file or not. --Sagacious (talk) 08:10, 14 June 2006 (PDT)
That would be me. I didn't (and still don't) know how to make transparent backgrounds for PNG files. Shame shame... --Andi kan 03:11, 15 June 2006 (PDT)

Question: How many colours do the trinkets come in? I've got a blue Rose Goddess Perfume --Lethallizard 06:39, 25 June 2006 (PDT)

Unless I'm mistaken, all BK trinkets come in 6 colours -- red, orange, violet, blue, aqua and lime. --Andi kan 22:45, 3 August 2006 (PDT)

I saw a Perfume trinket on a pirate yesterday. I'm 99.9999% certain that "Goddess" was spelled "Godess". --Barrister 15:44, 4 August 2006 (PDT)

Yes, it is. :/ I just saw a pirate displaying one: [1] --Zava 04:08, 27 August 2006 (PDT)

The image of the Silk Handkerchief here makes the "red" look rather pinkish. When I compared it against what I have, mine was much redder. You can see it here or on my User page. Anyone wanna comment on which is real/fake? --Andi kan 08:26, 13 February 2007 (PST)

I have one in-game that looks hot pink to me, exactly like the one you linked to as red, and very unlike the red one you actually have. ~ Sweetiepiepi

Royal Rin?

Or is it just a typo here? --Guppymomma 20:32, 14 June 2006 (PDT)

I believe it's Royal Tin... at least that is how it's stated in trinkets as portrait items... --Cecidrake 23:30, 14 June 2006 (PDT)
You can blame me for that typo...I also renamed 'Fisheye Ponocle' :-/ which Barrister fixed. My bad... --Sagacious (talk) 03:29, 15 June 2006 (PDT)

Brigand King or Barbarian King

Is Admiral Finius a Barbarian King? I've never met him when I attacked Brigands but got him once when I attacked Barbarians today. I understand that before Barbarians were released, Finius was still a Brigand. --Andi kan 10:39, 15 June 2006 (PDT)

All brigand kings are barbarian kings aswell. As yet, there are no 'barbarian only - brigand only' kings. --Sagacious (talk) 11:00, 15 June 2006 (PDT)
99% sure Vargas is barbarian-only, judging by the opening message: Brace yourself! Vargas the Mad and his barbaric horde are looking for a rumble!. And judging that there's no barbarian king background for Barnabas, either he doesn't use one in that case or he is brigand-only. --Thunderbird 13:44, 25 August 2006 (PDT)

Ship Sizes

I'd like to make a list of the various ship sizes that each BK has been spotted on. (Not counting early Ice stuff.)

  • Admiral Finius - sloop, cutter [2], war brig [3], merchant galleon [4], grand frigate [5], sloop [6]
  • Barnabas the Pale - war brig [7], merchant galleon [8]
  • Gretchen Goldfang - cutter [9], war frig [10] (pretty impressive, I thought)
  • Vargas the Mad
  • The Widow Queen - war brig [11]
There have been a couple of forum posts with even more BK/ship combinations. I think it's safe to say that all BKs will appear in all ship sizes. --Barrister 13:00, 12 July 2006 (PDT)

Ivory Pin/toothpick

Can we get a verification of whether that's an ivory pin or an invory toothpick? --Barrister 22:30, 14 July 2006 (PDT)

It's an Ivory Toothpick, I can confirm that. I've even got a screenshot on photobucket here. [12]
Thank you! --Barrister 23:02, 14 July 2006 (PDT)

The <Brigand King> and <Barbarian King> Tags

Do these even exist anymore? I know when BKs first came out there was a big hoopla about whether the tags were legit. Now the Wiki is stating that the ships will indeed show said tags. From what I've seen and understand (unless this was updated), there is no such <Brigand King> or <Barbarian King> tag, you just have to keep attacking Red-Ringed Brigands and hope. --micklauer 10:02, 15 August 2006 (PDT)

True, before battle begins the ships will list <Brigands> or <Barbarians> as their flag. After battle begins, if the ship is a king ship it will change its flag to either <Brigand King> or <Barbarian King>.--Fiddler 10:07, 15 August 2006 (PDT)
Word! Thanks...was a little confused by the Wiki article...thanks, again.----micklauer 10:38, 15 August 2006 (PDT)

Consistency in BK weapons?

Any idea if the kings themselves are consistent with the weapons they are using? I notice in the shot here Vargas is using skull rings. In the encounter I saw him in, he also has skull rings. If their weapons are consistent, then perhaps it should be noted? --Thunderbird 17:40, 27 August 2006 (PDT)

I will wager that each BK has a set of items they would prefer, and this would extend across the entire YPP universe: clothing, furni, pets, buildings, commodities. I think I will begin a project to categorize items based on which BK would prefer them. --Chupchup 05:51, 18 July 2007 (PDT)

Individual Trinket Pages

Are these necessary? If so, I'll flesh them out for those trinkets that now have all their colors. If not, I'll work on deleting them. There's just not much information to put on them, and no info that I know of that's unique to any one trinket. --AtteSmythe 10:21, 26 October 2006 (PDT)

I don't know. I just standardized them since a few existed and have been adding the full color charts to the ones as we finish them. --Guppymomma 10:27, 26 October 2006 (PDT)

Screenshots

I have lots of screenshots and have asked piplicus for help as I cant seem to upload them onto here! (I am useless with computers!) I followed his advice and its still not working, so if you want the screen shots, please can someone help me to upload them! Thankies! - Stampy!

I stumbled upon this page while I was looking up about trinkets, and being a relatively new player, I had never heard of Brigand Kings. So, I opened up PP and found some pretty much straight away, and I have uploaded a couple of screenshots, Brigand_King_Bnav.JPG and Brigand_King_Sf.JPG just in case anybody still wanted them... Last time I tried to edit a page it went horribly wrong, so I'm not going to try and put them on the page myself. Though judging by the fact that the last comment on this topic was in April, you probably don't want a screenshot any more anyway. Ah well... --Smc508 18:11, 30 December 2006 (PST)

Pictures are welcome, but they need to be in PNG format to avoid the JPG artifacts. I'm going to delete the ones you uploaded. If you have new ones you'd like added to the pages, just leave a note here. --Barrister 22:04, 30 December 2006 (PST)

So should I just re-upload them in PNG format? Or were the screenshots not suitable for the page or something...? Oh and what is the correct tag for a screenshot like that? I used {{interface image}} but I've seen others which just have "This image is taken from Yohoho! Puzzle Pirates" and stuff like that --Smc508 09:05, 31 December 2006 (PST)

To be honest, there were other problems with the screenshots you'd uploaded. (In particular, the fact that you'd put black blocks over all the names just looked plain yucky.) --Ponytailguy 11:38, 31 December 2006 (PST)
Yes, the images should be cleaned up to look as nice as possible. Cropping off your OS's title bars would be a good improvement. I would have used {{puzzle image}} (Usage) as the tag. --Barrister 12:18, 31 December 2006 (PST)

Yeah sorry about the black blobs - that was a 2 minute job and didn't work very well. I have cleaned up the screenshots and re-uploaded them in PNG format with the {{puzzle image}} (Usage) tag... I think thats everything people mentioned? --Smc508 17:14, 3 January 2007 (PST)

They still look doctored. :-/
And... either way, I think it would be prudent to use screenshots that don't have icy seas going on, because otherwise I forsee forum topics about "how do I make brigand kings freeze the ocean?" --Ponytailguy 03:49, 4 January 2007 (PST)

Now why didn't somebody mention that before... and out of interest, what bits look doctored? I think I'm going to have 1 more try at this and then give up (unless of course you'd rather I just went home now...) --Smc508 04:35, 4 January 2007 (PST)

Personally I think subtle smudging would work best. Or just don't doctor it at all. --Sagacious (talk) 07:24, 4 January 2007 (PST)

I've been coming back to this page a lot to see if there are any changes, and just recently noticed the call out for screenshots. as I'm quite unfamiliar with how to work a wiki ( in fact if i make this comment in proper format I'll be crazy surprised) i don't really know if what i have is useful in the least. the following is a SS of the Widow Queen just as the swordfight is underway. I dunno if the swabbies can be used for visuals or the screen as a whole. if it can be used, anyone has full permission to use it or link to it from my sight. http://preview.tinyurl.com/ynjar4 (Preview TinyURL used because dropping the link to the PNG causes it to show up automatically, and i didn't know if that was good form or not.) --Tresser 05:18, 15 January 2007 (PST)

Green or Lime?

This question's been bugging me... from the main Brigand King page, most of the trinkets appear to be more of lime than green (considering YPP's green is of a much darker shade). I know there is no material difference but I'd appreciate knowing what everyone else thinks. --Andi kan 08:26, 13 February 2007 (PST)

column widths

I rolled back Tyman 101's change to the column width. Without the "150", the left column usually winds up with an enormous amount of whitespace. I'm open to other layouts, but I prefer not to have a cell with a ton of whitespace next to a cell with almost none. --Barrister 15:47, 20 February 2007 (PST)

It's actually an issue with IE html table rendering where it doesn't assume that the column is sized for the entire table, just for that one cell (sorta, it thinks it is doing it right by making the inside width the 150 and centering in that, but letting the actual width of the column go according to the widest of the others or something like that). It's fixed by putting a width on all of the cells of that column. --Guppymomma 18:23, 20 February 2007 (PST)
Good to know. Also, IE sucks. :-) --Barrister 13:29, 22 February 2007 (PST)

Finius typo

Apparantly, Finius' comment has a typo in the game. He appears to say "greastest" when I'm assuming he meant to say "greatest." I was informed that the typo was in the game, although honestly I haven't seen it one way or another, and was correcting what I thought to be a typo on the wiki. I'm sending on a bugfix (if it hasn't been done already), but if anyone can verify what he says (especially if it has been corrected) please make sure the wiki is accurate. Thanks!! ^_^ Sashamorning 19:09, 11 March 2007 (PDT)

Just added (sic) until someone notices it has been corrected. --Guppymomma 19:11, 11 March 2007 (PDT)
I was the one that started adding the saying for the Brigand Kings, and I did it by going through my chat logs and copy and pasting the sayings from there. So yes as of late last year (when the battle took place) he definitely had that error. I posted about it in the forum, Admiral Finius's Victory speech, when I noticed the errors myself. He also says "begining" rather than "beginning". -- Vorky 20:31, 13 March 2007 (PDT)
I (unfortunately) saw the victory speech tonight and all the spelling mistakes have been fixed. -- Cedarwings (t/c) 02:09, 18 March 2007 (PDT)

BK Rumble backgrounds

I have found that when fighting Admiral Finius in a rumble (maybe Gretchen Goldfang too) that I get the regular rumble background and not a Brigand or Barbarian King background. Have others found this to be true as well? I want to confirm this before editing this information into the article. I'll try and screenshot it next time too. -- Cedarwings (t/c) 16:53, 13 March 2007 (PDT)

I've seen pictures of Finius with a normal SF backgound, but in that case he didn't give out a trinket (the system treated him as a normal brigand and not a king), so it may have been bugged in that case. I've not seen any barbarian king other than Vargas, and the background did show for him. --Thunderbird 16:57, 13 March 2007 (PDT)
I've fought Vargas and have a screenshot of him in a rumble. That wasn't a problem. Tonight I engaged a ship that was marked as a barbarian, but I got Finius. I did win and I did receive a trinket but the background was the normal rumble background. -- Cedarwings (t/c) 20:06, 13 March 2007 (PDT)
Here is an image of what I was talking about. Maybe we should edit this article to reflect rumble fights not with Vargas may appear with a regular rumble background. -- Cedarwings (t/c) 00:44, 16 March 2007 (PDT)
Gretchen Goldfang rumble with non-Barbarian King background.
Another example of a regular rumble background with BKs. -- Cedarwings (t/c) 23:44, 17 March 2007 (PDT)
Admiral Finius rumble with non-Barbarian King background.

Alternative fruit theory

Vorky had added the following comments to the article and I believe they warrant some discussion before being added to the article. "Another theory is that the fruit mentioned indicates in which archipelago that particular Brigand King is to be found."

Personally I don't think this statement is accurate since you can find the same information about what fruit each of the BKs is hoarding/collecting from any inn on the entire ocean. -- Cedarwings (t/c) 10:26, 23 March 2007 (PDT)

This theory was already mentioned in the above Fruit discussion. -- Vorky 16:08, 23 March 2007 (PDT)

Split?

With blockades coming, and Hypnos hinting at at least two new brigand kings, I think it's time to split each king off into a separate article. They have linkable yoweb stats, will possibly control islands, and have a growing list of sayings and trinkets. This will allow us to fully include everything known about each king without making the main article too long and cluttered.--Fiddler 11:10, 12 May 2007 (PDT)

See Admiral Finius for one approach to take with a split.--Fiddler 11:58, 12 May 2007 (PDT)

Inventory Navigational Templates for each King

I was wondering if possible someone could create a Inventory Navigational Template for the BKs and place one on each of the seperate kings pages. Just an idea and im not sure how to create a new template for it. Thanks a bunch Jeffer 2 11:51, 19 May 2007 (PDT)

List of Kings

For the "List of Brigand Kings", I'm thinking we actually make a "proper" list, if you want to call it that, instead of throwing up the template used as subnotes for all of the brigand kings. Approve or disapprove, anyone? I'll go ahead and make the list right now, and if you don't like it, change it back again to the template. --Finnigan 08:13, 20 May 2007 (PDT)

Amassed Power

I'm wondering whether a section should be included on the "Power" symbols that can be found on the Blockade section of the Notice Board next to a Brigand King's name. If the level of power proves constant for every brigand king, not just dependent on the size of the island/strength of the defending flag then perhaps there should be something about there power level there. Whether the power level is constant is, at this point, pure speculation. Oh, and if the power level is in fact constant, it is possible certain Brigand Kings and their flotillas only attack certain sized island, but that is off topic conjecture. Matthebeard 23:14, 9 May 2007 (PDT)

Probably as soon as someone figures out what it actually indicates then details will be added, but sure, add a stub section for now with the bare details ;-) -- Vorky 00:32, 10 June 2007 (PDT)
I made a section on Brigand Power, more as a place holder than anything else. Should probably be moved when a Brigand King Blockade section is written up. Just re read it, and it is extremely poorly phrased. I'll fix that up later. Matthebeard 07:30, 10 June 2007 (PDT)
It could do with a screen shot of the notice board showing the power symbols. -- Vorky 22:02, 10 June 2007 (PDT)
I'll go and get it. Matthebeard 09:09, 11 June 2007 (PDT)

BK Blockades and Blockade History

Wasn't sure where to put this, but with a few BK blockades coming up next week-end I thought it would be good to ask if these blockades should be noted on the regular blockade history for each ocean. Would it be best to have a special BK blockade history for each ocean? I assume this would take a bit more work since a different template would be needed to tell apart one type of blockade from another in each island's page blockade history. Anyways, would be nice to hear thoughts about this before the time to edit comes. --Cecidrake 19:19, 12 June 2007 (PDT)

Since they are actual full blockades where the island could possibly change hands and they involve player flags, I'd think they should go on the blockade history pages. --Guppymomma 19:51, 12 June 2007 (PDT)
Okies Guppy, thanks for the quick answer. Anyways in the end I think we should find a way to break up those pages into smaller parts. Midnight cade history is huge for example and all this BK blockades will probably add much more information to pages. But when time comes we can worry about that. --Cecidrake 19:57, 12 June 2007 (PDT)

Brigand King blockades

Just some notes off the top of my head on what would be useful to add to this section:

  • Screenshot of the notice board's BK blockade listing
  • Screenshot of the governor's rescheduling BK blockade ability along with a description about it
  • Info about what happens to an island that a BK takes over

I'm sure there's more, but I've been too busy to get involved in any BK blockades and don't know a whole lot about them. --Guppymomma 15:16, 6 July 2007 (PDT)

I was reading through this section today and it still needs all these things that Guppy mentioned above. Specially the time rescheduling part should be in there. Anyone that has seen it could elaborate on it so we can add it? --Cecidrake 20:18, 9 April 2008 (PDT)
We are still missing specific information about BK blockades. Apart from the things mentioned above, we need to that they are always sinking and the bits listed in the official page. --Clotho 13:35, 5 August 2014 (PDT)
Added the missing information and separated the Flotilla section from the Blockade one. Although they are directly related, they are still two separated events. Mobyduck2 14:05, 5 August 2014 (PDT)

Brigand King islands

On each BK personal page there is a part where it tells you if they have a flotilla out in each ocean and where it is. I think it should be added if the BK owns an island. Either in the same flotilla box or somewhere else. Angara 01:35, 19 Dec 2007 (PT)

Expeditions, new behaviour and gerneral thoughts

Hermes confirmed that Brigand Kings can no longer be encountered just by attacking red ships and expeditions are the only way now [13]. That probably makes the section about old salts obsolete too, but I haven't checked. Personally I think the page could profit from a reorganization, describing the BKs as entities/personas first, before going into detail about different aspects like BK expeditions, BK blockades, BK flotillas. --Alfwyn 21:37, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

I don't think the old salts do still talk about Brigand Kings and fruit - at least, I couldn't convince them to. Lelantos pointed me to the Old salt page when I asked him. That page still lists those sayings, but it may not have been updated... --Adrielle ♥ =) 23:57, 10 June 2011 (UTC)

An Odd Response

I got an odd response from a brigand king. We were out in a ship and got an expedition, wanting extra bodies, we called more mates aboard t'fill our sloop before engaging. Upon engagement, we got the announcement "Barnabas didn't like the odds of winning and fled". The sloop was not minimally manned beforehand, we only added one or two more mates. I don't know where to note this on the Brigand King page, and couldn't find mention of it on the forums. Can a note be made of this? It may be noteworthy that he dropped from a yellow-orange to a solid green when the mates boarded. --Seamusmclir 11:10, 30 Sep 2011 (PST) ~
