Brynhild Skullsplitter is a Brigand King. She is captain of the crew Thanes of the Frost-daughter and queen of the flag The Ice Wyrm's Hoard on the Ice Ocean and the flag Ice Wyrm's Brood on all other English oceans. On the Opal Ocean she goes by the name of Brynhild Schädelspalter and is captain of the crew Thane der Frosttochter and queen of the flag Hort des Eiswurms. On the Jade Ocean, she is named Brynhild Machacacráneos, and is captain of the crew Lacayos de la Hija del Hielo and queen of the flag Prole de los Dragones de Hielo.

Brynhild Skullsplitter was released onto production oceans with release 2007-12-12. Like most brigand kings, she can be fought in either a swordfight or rumble. She pre-owns all "chosen-to-be colonized" islands, and appears to have a preference for longships.

Let the mist of Odin surround ye! Let fly the bone-rain of our enemies! FIGHT! FIIIGHT! " Defeat chants: Brynhild Skullsplitter says, "Worthy foes! Your steel was charmed this day and your blows were both fell and true! We kneel to your mercy!" Brynhild Skullsplitter says, "Very well, I shall give each of yer dedicated hands one <''Insert trinket name''> in ransom for my release." Victory chant: Brynhild Skullsplitter says, "Grim tidings ye wretches! A ring-giver needs treasure to reward her warriors and warriors need battle to prove their bravery. By Odin's decree, you have given us both!"
