Biography
Xarrin began his digital seafaring life in 2005 on the Viridian Ocean. After jumping between a few crews, he met Eggplant, an officer in the Screaming Banshees who was able to persuade Xarrin into his crew. After having a long run as a pirate, he was promoted to officer and given his first sloop by Fishandsail. Later, in July and August of 2006, internal arguments would come up within the Screaming Banshees and several members left to form a new crew called Moonlit. Xarrin went with Eggplant, Fishandsail, and the others who left the Banshees and, as he was already trusted by the crew, was given officer status immediately upon joining.
In February of 2007, Xarrin left the Viridian Ocean due to Eggplant's death and general crew inactivity in Moonlit at the time. He briefly sailed on the seas of the Hunter Ocean in 2008, but was unable to find a satisfying crew or satisfying poker tables.
In May of 2009 Xarrin was convinced to return to the game on the Sage Ocean by Waffaru (known as Slaydapirate at the time), another ex-Viridian pirate who was starting a crew of his own called the Sea Bunnies. Xarrin lost his leg honorably in the first Sea Bunnies crew Cursed Isles voyage, led by his crewmate Camilos. The Sea Bunnies later fell apart due to crew inactivity, and Xarrin floated about the Sage Ocean as a freelancer. After a short run of independence, he decided it was time to be a captain himself, and on April 15th, 2010, he created the crew Shimmering Rivalry.
Between April and November Xarrin's crew was extremely active and pillaged nearly every day. During December, however, the crew began to show signs of inactivity from most of the officers. On January 10th the crew permanently split, and Xarrin rejoined his old friend Waffaru in the Sea Bunnies once more. He has continued as a senior officer under Waffaru after the Sage Ocean became part of the Emerald Ocean and remains in the Sea Bunnies to this day.
Personality and Information
Xarrin is known for being a casual, social pirate. At sea he enjoys Bilging and Rigging, disliking Carpentry and Gunnery. He very often enjoys Sea Monster Hunting, and particularly adores acting as an executive officer. Xarrin is also partial to poker and is known for investing in vessels.
Notable Posessions
- Delicious Watermelon, a sloop. Xarrin's green and red flagship, it is normally found ported at Admiral Island. It encountered The Widow Queen on its maiden voyage. Below its deck it also contains Xarrin's first pet, a rat named Bilge Rat.
- An aqua-colored jeweled brooch. "Ransomed by the Widow Queen to Xarrin on June 18, 2009." Xarrin considers it to be his most treasured posession, as Waffaru, his captain, has a matching brooch he won alongside Xarrin in the same battle.
- A rose-colored pig named Potential Rations. It lurks around Xarrin's various houses and ships.
