Extended Public Statement
Welcome to Jigsaw Tessellators! This flag has been made by a bunch of experienced players seeking a fresh new start, and is based on the topic of puzzles and everything related to this fascinating world, which besides is so tightly knit within our beloved game!
We want to be involved virtually in anything that is possible to do in this game. Be it one of us or another, since there is so much variety among us, and we love it! For us, the respect for the individual, the understanding of mistakes and the encouragement of development of each one’s, and the team’s, full potentials are the keys to a happy and true success. We try to make everyone feel welcome and help them feel at home and we all try to learn from each other to make the flag a better place for all, and a stronger better element within the ocean.
We strongly believe that everything is tightly related, and that the fun of the player, the crew, the flag and the ocean as a community are interlinked. Therefore, we take seriously our decisions and our steps. We are aware that we will fail and make mistakes, but we will try at least not to make them because of purposeful ignorance or thoughtlessness. As much as this is a game, we want to try to experience it with the awareness of the human beings behind each player and each team of players, be it friends or foes!
We respect basic principles that are also shared in real life, one of them being democracy. That is why we are developing a system to elect the representatives of our flag, be them as much the Monarch as the Royals. We are also establishing funds and a fleet (we happen to like blockading too, among so many other things!), etc. Much fun and possibilities to help in lay ahead in here!
Regarding Lords and Ladies, for now they are appointed by the crew they belong to, with a reasonable limit on each individual crew depending on different parameters. Unless something relevant to the whole flag and worrying happens, we trust each crew to make a right decision on this issue.
Something also very important for us is a group of values that we could put together under the label of mmm... as simple as the “game spirit”! Treat others as you wish to be treated, do not spam, or annoy others as you would wish not to be annoyed, try to solve conflicts in private non-tarting ways that allow us to keep the flag atmosphere full of cordiality and motivation… Yes, conflicts are a part of life! But there is no need, often, to force all the flag players into private conflicts.
