Duat Island is a outpost island located in the Komodo Archipelago. There are three known routes from the island: Buyan's Vortice, Midgard Island, and an inter-archipelago route to Cenote Island in the Lacerta Archipelago.
Natural resources
This island spawns broom flower, hemp, serandite, sugar cane, and tellurium.

History
Duat Island was originally located on the Malachite Ocean. An inscription on a row boat, on the eastern coast by the landing, reads, "This island were fashioned by Polly."
In Egyptian mythology, Duat is the name for the underworld. The island resembles the head of Anubis, the jackal-headed Egyptian god associated with mummification and the afterlife - he is facing towards the north-east.
Blockades
In September 2008, Brynhild Skullsplitter took control of the island as part of its opening for colonization.

Duat III, 2008-11-23: Imperial Honor took control of the island in a three round sinking blockade.
Duat IV, 2008-12-06: Whirled Peas took control of the island in a three round sinking blockade.
Duat V, 2008-12-13: Out of Order took control of the island in a five round sinking blockade.
Duat VI, 2008-12-20: Whirled Peas took control of the island in a five round sinking blockade.
Duat VII, 2009-01-31: The island was defended from the attack of The All-Consuming Flame in a five round sinking blockade.
Duat VIII, 2009-02-14: Just Do It took control of the island in a three round non-sinking blockade.
Duat IX, 2009-04-19: Barely Dressed took control of the island in a three round non-sinking blockade.
Duat X, 2009-05-31: Utopia took control of the island in a five round non-sinking blockade. It should be noted that this was a planned, unannounced island transfer, with the intention of having some blockade fun.
Duat XI, 2009-10-4: The Enlightened took control of the island in a three round sinking blockade.
Duat XII, 2009-10-10: Utopia took back control of the island in a three round sinking blockade. Hooked also dropped a war chest, but did not seriously contend.
Duat XIII, 2009-11-22: The island was defended from the attack of The Enlightened in a three round sinking blockade. This blockade was simultaneous with Zuyua X.
Duat XIV, 2010-3-20: Utopia defended
Duat XV, 2010-6-27: Utopia defended against Victorious Reign
Duat XVI, 2010-7-3: Victorious Reign won control against Utopia
Duat XVII, 2010-7-11: Barely Dressed won control against Victorious Reign uncontested.
