How to create new page?

How do I create a new page on the Wiki? I keep forgetting and want to enter in the familiar contest. Rappak 12:03, 2 February 2006 (PST)

what happens when u try to log on and it says "Your client is out of date please quit and restart"? How do I get on?

how can i get back onto the game on probation it say's go to a help bit but i have looked all over and i cannot see it.

Using dates in 'discuss this page' pages

First off a disclaimer: I'm very green. I've noticed in the discussion pages that people will leave a time and date and I'm wondering if there is a particular Wiki code used to generate this? Thanks! Queanie

Use this: ~~~~. It'll leave your name and a timestamp. Or in the image bar up top on the edit page, click the 2nd one from the right to drop the code into the page automatically. Banned Accounts

If you have a banned account and you havent been on for a while and you know there was no reason to bann you how dou get back your accout even if its for 1 day and what is the email address you can send this complait to

If you were banned, there was a good reason for it. If you feel the need to plead your case, you can send an email to banpleading@puzzlepirates.com. Since it's a one day ban, you should just wait it out, however. See ban for more information. --Yaten ^talk 11:59, 12 February 2006 (PST)

TOC on User Page

I would like to have TOC on my user page but I understand this is turned off for user pages. I noticed that Guppymomma has one on her page and was wondering how I can set mine up to have one? Jezabella 02:30, 13 February 2006 (PST)

Just FYI, TOC's automatically show up once there are at least uhm four sections I think. You can force it to show up with less with the code Yaten mentions above. --Guppymomma 06:19, 13 February 2006 (PST)

Thanks guys. I did some research on the wikipedia editing area referenced from here which states that a TOC auto-generates when a page has 3 or more headings. The code given there to make a TOC appear was _FORCETOC_ but that didn't seem to work when I tried it on my user page. I'll have another go. This Wiki thing is fun! Why has my account been suspended?

Hi my username is short4eva and my character name is shortgod. for some reason it says that ive been suspended and that i have to type/repeat the following "I agree not to insult other players or use profanity." now this leads me to believe that i used profanity or insulted someone I.E. cussed, stole someones money, or something else that i can not think of at the moment. now i dont know why this is because i dont remmember using any profanity or insulted someone. so if you could please tell me the real reason if this is a joke or something because puzzle pirates is basicly my life and ive thought of even being an administrator. If you could get back to me A.S.A.P that would be great. and please keep in mind that every moment i live without this awsome game is great agony to me. Thank Ye

This thread has some usful information for you. If you were banned yourself, follow all the instructions. If you think someone else used your computer, try emailing banpleading@puzzlepirates.com and explaining your situation.

I lost my game

I went ot click on my shortcut and my game will not come up. I think it got taken out of my computer by my sister. she was cleaning up my computer for me while I was not home. Can you help me please. Adding something to the Famed Pirates Section

Good Day,

I have updated my user information and wanted to add my profile to the section Famed Pirates (off the main page). It successfully posted, however it posted under U as user:2cucry I would like to have it posted under A as my pirate name is Anderson. How do i proceed to accomplish this?

I'm guessing you did what I do all the time, hit the enter key and the darn thing saves just the section header :). As a Captain of a crew you qualify for having an individual pirate article for Anderson. Just click on that link and fill in the info. Make sure to add the appropriate category at the end by pasting this text: [[Category:Pirates:Midnight]] An example of a pirate article that has nicely formatted sections & such is Attesmythe. We don't put User: pages in the pirate categories because they're in a different wiki namespace not included in the default search. can u plz tell me the unban email address pleaze.I stole money and i dont no y i will pay all the money back plus some extra.My Mum has also payed money from her credit card so if i cant log on then you have techinically stolen money.Plz may i be unbanned i will do what ever it takes to become unbanned plz plz.

Three Rings employees generally don't read this (or if they do, they don't respond here), so saying "you" is a fallacy. The only thing you can do is follow the instructions on the Ban article. And one other thing: the TOS says that you can be banned at any time and any existing subscription time or doubloons become forfeit if you are banned, last I checked. Uploading replacement image

Is there currently a problem with uploading replacements for existing images? I was trying to upload a new version of Ye panel.png showing the new noticeboard button, but get an error: "The upload directory (/usr/local/www/data-dist/mediawiki/images) is not writable by the webserver."
