Ahoy! I'm deleting your image of Sakejima Island. All the island images are already available on the wiki. Sakejima is available at Image:Sakejima_Island_(Cobalt).png

Jollyrodger

Ahoy! You may have noticed I added a cleanup notice to your Jollyrodger article - this is because the article needs some work, with regards to making the information more factual and encyclopedic. A pirate page on YPPedia is not the place to be advertising to buy or sell things (We have bazaar forums for that). Also, the article talk page shouldn't be a page to encourage people to contact you, especially by email. It's a place to discuss the article, if there are queries or problems. Your User talk: page (a.k.a here) is a place people can contact you personally if they want/need to.

Please don't simply add stuff to the article I've already removed twice three times. There is a reason or two why I have removed those parts, and please don't remove the {{cleanup}} tag until the article has been properly cleaned up. See YPPedia:Sample pirate page to get a feel for what we're looking for when it comes to pirate pages. --Sagacious (talk) 04:17, 12 July 2006 (PDT)

cleanup & warning

The page for Jollyrodger is poorly-written. Please leave the {{cleanup}} tag on that page until the page looks more like Barrister or Attesmythe. I'd suggest starting with changing the text from boldface to regular. Also, the wiki is meant to be like an encyclopedia. Encyclopedias don't contain sections for "Breaking News".

I just checked and you've removed the {{cleanup}} tag six times. That's unacceptable. It's there for a good reason. If you remove it again, you will be blocked from editing the wiki for a week. --Barrister 16:44, 12 July 2006 (PDT)

Cleanup

You need to correct the spelling; perhaps you could copy and paste the text into a word processor and use spell check. The beginning letter of all sentences should be capitalized and there should be a space after the end of each sentence. Sentences do not end with multiple periods. It may help if you read the article out loud to yourself to make sure it makes sense and uses grammatical english. As has been mentioned to you, you need to look CAREFULLY at the YPPedia:Sample pirate page, Attesmythe and Barrister for some ideas of what a good encyclopedic pirate article looks like. Do not ask about removing the cleanup tag until after you have actually taken some time to follow this advice. You may continue this discussion on this page below what I have written here. --Guppymomma 21:22, 12 July 2006 (PDT)

User talk:

You have been leaving messages for Barrister on his pirate article talk page (Talk:Barrister) and not his user talk page (User talk:Barrister). If you leave message for certain people, make sure you leave it in their User talk: namespace and not their pirate article. They won't get notification of your message if it is left in the wrong place. --Sagacious (talk) 21:53, 12 July 2006 (PDT)

Images

Your image of Sakejima island was deleted earlier today. Please do not re-upload things that have been deleted unless you're prepared to explain why circumstances have changed enough to merit re-uploading. In this case, you didn't, so I've re-deleted the image. Fair winds! --Ponytailguy 21:56, 12 July 2006 (PDT)

I'm pretty sure the image of a sloop you uploaded is also a duplicate of an existing image. It will probably also be deleted. --Sagacious (talk) 21:58, 12 July 2006 (PDT)

Block

I'm sorry, but you are just creating too much work for the other editors and administrators on the wiki because you are not reading and following the directions/advice being given to you multiple times. I'm blocking you from editing the wiki for a week. During this week you can take the time to reread all of the advice given to you on this page. --Guppymomma 22:01, 12 July 2006 (PDT)

Page Blanking

Ahoy there! Just a word in your ear: even if something drastic happens to a pirate like them quitting the game or leaving a crew, we like to leave their encyclopedia entry in place, just for posterity and so that articles that link to them don't suddenly break. Your edit has been reverted for this reason... nothing personal, we just like to look to the future. Fair winds! -- Cedarwings (t/c) 06:56, 18 August 2007 (PDT)
