History
Mennus is a pirate who plays on Hunter Ocean. He first made his account around April of 2007, but he was never really active, and eventually stopped playing. He started playing again in October of 2007, and he has been playing actively since then.
His first ever crew, was "Skeletons" in the flag "Castigo X". He was in a WB pilly with them when he was invited to join as a full member. Not knowing what a crew was, he joined the "Skeletons".
After he grew active again, he found that he did not really like "Skeletons". His chance to join another crew came when he met two pirates on a pilly; Lawlerfish and Lemonheadftw. They were in different crews, but were great friends. Mennus was invited to join Lemonheadftw's crew: "The Reflected" in the flag "NO BULLCRAP", then under Thenavigata's command.
A few days after he joined "The Reflected", Mennus was given an invite to join another crew by Sto. Sto was Mennus's friend in real-life, and urged him to join "Silver Escapades" in the flag "Dangerous Liaisons". Mennus joined "Silver Escapades" as a pirate. Killamangiro was the captain.
Mennus spent a lot of time in "Silver Escapades" while working for his stats and PoE on pillages. He longed to be an Officer and lead a pillage, but he was firmly told by the Senior Officers that he needed Master in Battle Navigation.
Then came his chance to be an Officer. Lawlerfish had made his own crew with Lemonheadftw. The crew was "Operation Ownage". Lawlerfish offered Mennus to be a Senior Officer in the crew. Lawlerfish also made a new flag, called "Keepers of the Keg". Mennus was made a Lord in the flag. Lawlerfish, Lemonheadftw, Mennus, and other SOs: Lootingu and Cokeking, spent a great time in the crew.
However, the crew eventually fell apart due to Lawlerfish's constant dormancy. He came online only about once in a week. All the Fleet Officers left; Bats and Fodder left to make their own crew together, and Yolo left to make his own crew. Lemonheadftw left to help Yolo with his new crew. With only Mennus and Cokeking left, the crew started to fall apart. Eventually Cokeking left to Yolo's crew; "Havic". Mennus spent a few days alone in "Operation Ownage" as the only Senior Officer, but Lemonheadftw and Yolo later persuaded him to abandon "Operation Ownage" and join "Havic". When Lawlerfish finally came online for the first time in 3 weeks, he was invited to join "Havic", but he refused and told them he was quitting.
With the former "Operation Ownage" officers together in a second crew (except Lawlerfish and Lootingu", "Havic" flourished.
Eventually, even "Havic" fell apart. Lemonheadftw wanted to join a big crew that had some power in Hunter politics. Feeling unsatisfied with 'not-as-big' "Havic", he left to join "Poseidon's Revenge". Also, Yolo, the captain, went dormant like Lawlerfish. Cokeking and Mennus stayed in the crew, but soon after, Cokeking quit leaving Mennus alone in the crew again (not counting Officers, Pirates, and Cabin People).
Seeing that he was alone again, Sto invited Mennus to join "Silver Escapades" once again. Sto was now the captain of "Silver Escapades" since Killamangiro and most of the other Senior Officers left for another crew. Mennus was made Senior Officer.
Sto and Mennus made a decision to leave the falling-apart "Dangerous Liaisons" and join a flag made by former members of "Dangerous Liaisons"; "Insight". After only a few days in "Insight", Sto and Mennus went back to "Dangerous Liaisons", and merged into "The Drunken Brotherhood". Mennus stayed as a Senior Officer in "The Drunken Brotherhood" (Cherd was the captain, and later it was Abberdefense) while Sto became a Senior Officer in "Oblivious" in the flag "Insight".
In his 7th crew, (counting "Siler Escapades" twice) Mennus's stats grew the most. He spent much time in the crew.
Somehow like all the other crews he was in (except "Skeletons"), "The Drunken Brotherhood" gradually fell apart. It was a big crew, but slowly members of it left. Mennus left the crew early, and pondered over what crew to join next. Crews on the top of his list were "Easy Going", "Earthbound", "- Virtute et Armis -", and "-Frozen-".
After thinking it over for a couple weeks, he decided to join "-Frozen-". He was made Officer and has been in "-Frozen-" since then.
