Earthbound was founded on 10 October, 2006 on the former Hunter Ocean.

By June of 2007 Kevinnine had stepped down as captain and Justncredibl was given the captaincy. Then Justncredibl stepped down and gave control of the crew to Duckling. Then Tigersheart stepped down, giving the honour of captaincy to Legolas-East.
