Tortuga's Finest is an independent, dormant crew on the Viridian Ocean that was founded on March 25, 2007. This crew once flew the flag of Pay for Play.

Public statement
If ye want excitement and adventure ... Join the Army. We be here to have fun. So, keep ye arms and legs inside the ship at all times, lest ye lose them to the Kracken, and enjoy yer pilly. ARRR!!!
Extended public statement
If, ye likes what ye sees and wants to join me crew, please wait 'til the pillage be done. If we not be pillaging, ye can always send a /tell to the Captain or any of his trustworthy Officers. We'll give ye the once over and see if your worth your salt.
When ye play with us, respect each other and our Pirate's Code. Then, ye will fair well.
Crew pirate's code
(more like guidelines, than actual rules)
- Breaking the guidelines, will get ye a smaller share of the booty and a quick swim home. Please, don't damage me plank with yer head as ye be leaving me ship. ARRR!!!
- No asking to gun. The OIC (Officer in Charge), that be the one who hired ye, will pick their own gunners.
- No taking the Helm, climbing the Crow's Nest, peeking at me Booty every chance ye gets, or rummaging in me Hold. Mind yer own business and get back to work.
- No lazing about. Ye, only makes it harder on the rest of us and lower the booty we plunder.
- No begging. Earn your PoE, like the rest of us.
- No spamming, shouting, whining or cursing.
- No swordfighting, rumbling or other challenges during a pillage.
- No leaving during battle. If you absolutely, positively, must leave; please tell the OIC.
- Try not to jump from station to station. This, can make an OIC crazy. Find a station and stick to it.
Other bad behavior not mentioned above, may also get ye planked. So, ye best behave.
Promotion requirements
Looking for quick advancement? Ye won't find that here. Ye must prove yourself worthy.
- Cabin person: Nothing be expected of ye, any scallywag will do.
- Officer: Ye must be Broad/Distinguished in B'nav.
- Fleet officer: Ye must be trustworthy, own yer own ship, be Solid in B'nav, and earn the respect of the crew. Being kin to the Captain, may also help. ARRR!!! Nepotism, what fortuitous circumstance, be this.
- Senior officer: Don't even bother to ask. I will be disinclined to acquiesce to your request ~ Means, No!
