Coloured rows for sinking/non-sinking

Sorry for editing the main template, but it was previously mentioned during the development of the new layout that it would be nice to have coloured rows to indicate a sinking blockade or not. Well with the shiny new default values, I've managed to add a 'sinking=' parameter. Yes=Pinkish background, it being not included will mean a default blue. I think a lighter shade of blue is needed, but any feedback on it would be great. The comparison can be seen on my sandbox. --Sagacious (talk) 17:46, 9 July 2006 (PDT)

Nice, I support, but Defender.png and Contender.png need transparent backgrounds, they show up against the colour. --Angelbeaver 17:52, 9 July 2006 (PDT)
Only if you use IE6 or below. IE7+ and Firefox can process .PNG images properly. I don't know the proper method, but Guppy knows a way of fixing the images I believe. --Sagacious (talk) 17:54, 9 July 2006 (PDT)
So they already have transparent background? I know about the IE6 problem, I just thought that transparancy showed up bluey with it. --Angelbeaver 18:47, 9 July 2006 (PDT)
Both icons have transparent backgrounds yes. --Sagacious (talk) 18:48, 9 July 2006 (PDT)
Fixed 'em. If you run into any other images that appear to have broken transparency, feel free to leave a note on my talk page and I'll give it a go. --Guppymomma 19:10, 9 July 2006 (PDT)
Just to point out that the current version of the template is a bit inefficient seeing as it calculates the background for each row individually (rather than for a single row: |- style="..."). However, after testing it on the emerald ocean 2013 data, there was no noticable reduction in page load times. (These are not the bottlenecks we're looking for!) --Therobotdude 19:56, 20 April 2014 (PDT)
