Drinking Table

My new War Brig (ok, not new but i just tried using the drinking table today) doesn't have a drinking table. I double checked the logs and there is no record of one. I removed the drinking table from the list of what there is. If I am incorrect, please tell me. Thanks. (note, my crews older war brigs still have drinking tables so i presume whatever update it was didn't affect existing ships.) --Sulu 13:37, 13 December 2005 (PST)

Shots per move

It currently states it allows two shots per move, however technically you can fire 4, 2 from each side. In fact I've noticed that all the vessels state shots per move incorrectly, as you can fire cannons from both sides each move... --Sagacious 11:53, 19 March 2006 (PST)

You're splitting a hair. If you simply change the number, you'll confuse people. If you can find a way to change the template to indicate shots per side (or something), then that would clarify it. --Barrister 11:55, 19 March 2006 (PST)
Would 'Max shots per move' not be clear enough? --Sagacious 12:00, 19 March 2006 (PST)
I think that would not provide any additional information. --Barrister 12:30, 19 March 2006 (PST)
Thought not. What about 'Shots per move per side' - seems the only way of putting it. --Sagacious 12:44, 19 March 2006 (PST)
Ok had better idea... add 'per side' onto the template after the number. I'll change it and see how it looks. --Sagacious 13:55, 19 March 2006 (PST)
That looks pretty good. --Barrister 14:54, 19 March 2006 (PST)
Ok - my mind all settled now that is sorted. --Sagacious 14:56, 19 March 2006 (PST)

flag tapestries

In the prop list 4 flag tapestries are mentioned, but there seem to be 5 in the image of the main deck linked to this article (and the image seems to match the ships I see). I count 4 on the side and one hanging from the bowsprit.

Good catch. I've fixed it. --Barrister 23:00, 26 March 2006 (PST)

Command Deck

I think the edit by Strayshot changing command deck to helm, should probably be reversed as it doesn't make sense. -- Vorky 16:42, 25 April 2007 (PDT)

I agree. Done. -- Thefirstdude (t/c) 17:24, 25 April 2007 (PDT)

max crew

Well i was seeing the wb page and i realised that if we see all the stations avaluable to work on we got only stations for 24 pirates ( including gunners ) and since max crew in a WB is 30 that must be a mistake i cant check coz i dont have a WB. so if someone can check it would be nice

No mistake. -- Thefirstdude (t/c) 20:14, 6 June 2007 (PDT)

Min Blockade Crew

I was able to run in a blockade and influence buoys with only 7 (and 1 NPP). Jlh0605 23:49, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Trim on main deck?

I have an old WB with the original drinking game. When I go to pain the main deck I see trim, which requires 2 units of pain, but I can't for the life of me figure out what is being changed. I also noticed this isn't on the page either. Bassgoonist 23:06, 1 August 2009 (UTC)

New Paint Requirements

I was painting my new War Brig, and discovered I was 2 paint short of what the War Brig paint requirements state. I then edited the numbers to reflect the difference, but I am now going to change that back, because I've realised that the extra 2 paints are for the Gilded Cannon that is on the ship.

Maybe someone could add the info that each Gilded cannon requires an extra 2 paint?

It's listed here, though it might be worth putting a link to there on other pages. --Belthazar451 22:35, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

Cupid Class Main Deck Image

I've gone ahead and added an image for the main deck of the Cupid Class brig. The file is quite large, however. I do a fair bit of image editing, but this one has me flummoxed. My every attempt to crunch down the file size (by limiting the palette to only the colors used, turning off any theoretical transparencies, fiddling with my PNG quality and saving options, etc.) are all resulting in larger file sizes. Multiple megabytes larger. I've hacked off the needless bits of Mast to make the image as small as I can, while still retaining all of the full-sized goodness. But if anyone thinks that the image should be reduced to 75%, or has any PNG optimization tricks up their sleeves, please feel free to edit the darn thing.

The image itself is a screencapture composite I made on one of the ships the Ringers set up for viewing, with a bit of ocean, rigging and mast pasted on from Yohoho Tools, so that things would properly extend to their limits and fade into the mist, etc. It should be perfectly accurate. --Ladodal 05:45, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

I don't think it really matters - some of the other ship images are bigger than that in terms of file size (in terms of pixels, it's a similar size to other ship pics, too). Adrielle ♥ =) 09:56, 2 March 2010 (UTC)
