In the right-facing walk-up, I can't tell whether "back room" and "back bedroom" is on the first floor. Can we rename these? Or clarify somehow? --Barrister 03:08, 14 August 2005 (PDT)

Templating versus sectioning

Looking over the wiki source, some of the rooms are entered as sections, and some are entered using the "House Room" or "House room 2" templates.

It depends on what's being done. Templates are used whenever you are doing something that will have the same formatting in many instances. This allows for standardization of look, less typing and also allows for a single change in a template to be replicated in the many instances. The spots in this article where the House Room template set isn't used is probably due to the person editing it not knowing how to use it. Templates have special issues with the automatic edit section links that appear on the right side. I'll pop cleaning up all the house pages on the Wishlist. Fuzzy left images?

Paint

Is there anywhere where I can see a rowhouse that's been painted? I noticed that the downstairs hall only need 1 unit for the "Wall" part and I want to see how much it actually changes --Alphies 16:40, 22 July 2010 (UTC)
