Sputty
Sputty is a senior officer of the crew Rolling Thunder and lord of the flag Tempest on the Viridian Ocean.
Mini biography
Sputty started playing Puzzle Pirates in 2005. He was trained in the crew Death's Shadow. On the 7th of September, 2005, Sputty created the crew Rolling Thunder, which joined the flag Imperial Coalition 2 days later. In November of 2005, Sputty resigned and handed captainship to Dopefish. Sputty regularly war frigate pillaged in Rolling Thunder, and helped greatly to increase numbers and fame. By 2006, Rolling Thunder was the largest crew on the Viridian ocean. In February of 2006, Rolling Thunder created the flag Revelation, and Dopefish became monarch. During this time a Rolling Thunder co-captain, Lightning, was created, and Sputty was given access to this.
However, Dopefish quit the game while monarch of Revelation, and Robintx of Mystical Sirens took over. Sputty felt that the flagwide vote that had been planned turning into a royalty-only decision was wrong, and so Rolling Thunder and several other crews left Revelation. The crew chose to then join the flag Pride of the Pacific where they were assigned four monarchy positions. These were filled by Sputty, Tombstein, Shadowss and Pandalink.
In August, 2006, Sputty and the other Rolling Thunder Co-Captains drew up a plan to split up Rolling Thunder into a single flag. This became known as the Rolling Thunder Experiment. The flag that was created was called Tempest. In late August, Sputty created the crew Fury of the Storm as part of this plan, and left Lightning, an alt, as captain of Rolling Thunder. Sputty, however, noticing the problems Rolling Thunder was having, returned to captain it, putting Roronoahzolo in charge of Fury of the Storm. At first the Rolling Thunder Experiment plan seemed to work well, but soon each spinoff crew began to merge. Fury of the Storm merged with Arc Lightning I, Calm before the Cyclone merged, and on 31st of December Arc Lightning I merged back into Rolling Thunder. The plan had failed.
At the start of 2007, Sputty stepped down from captaincy and appointed Mouren. On 14th March, 2007, Mouren passed the captaincy back to Sputty, who had cut down dramatically on his playtime by then. Two days later, he promoted Pandalink to captain of Rolling Thunder.
As of at least March 8, 2008, Sputty's character ceased to exist due to unknown reasons. Sputty recently made a new pirate in March of 2010 which is also the original Sputty. He doesnt know if he will continue to play part or full time.
