Smoothblade
Smoothblade is a senior officer of the crew Paper Wings, and is a lord of the flag State of The Union on the Viridian Ocean.
Biography
Smoothblade began as a greenie on Fintan Island on the Onyx archipelago on the Viridian Ocean. After shifting between crews, only ever reaching the rank of officer, Smoothblade acquired a sloop and settled into a crew whose name is not available. In this crew, he began several business ventures with the pirate Inoka running a ironworking stall on Sakejima Island, a distilling stall on Sakejima Island, a tailoring stall on Swampfen Island, and a shipbuilding stall. Smoothblade generated enough poe from this business plus doubloon purchases to buy several more vessels, including a merchant brig, a dhow, a baglah, and a cutter.
After a period of inactivity, Smoothblade found himself without an active crew, and decided to go on a Sea Monster Hunt and try to impress the hosting crew. The crew hosting this SMH was Rise Against. The captain was Deaplunder, the executive officer was Berthy, and the master-at-arms was Hathrandir. After assisting and impressing the captain and his crew in the SMH, Smoothblade was invited to join as a full member. After Smoothblade joined, an assessment of stats, and his small fleet of ships was made, and he was promoted to the rank of officer. After performing loyally to the the crew, running pillages and assisting other crew members with pillages and other jobs, Deaplunder decided he trusted Smoothblade enough to make him a fleet officer. After a little while of good times, an incident occurred with Deaplunder, and Berthy, Hathrandir, Deaplunder, Locka, and Manicthunder left Rise Against, and formed Paper Wings. Deaplunder and Hathrandir then became inactive, and Berthy inherited most of their possessions for her loyalty, Smoothblade inherited Hathrandir's IM stall on Lima Island. Smoothblade was named a senior officer for his loyalty.
During his career, Smoothblade has owned several homes. His first home, a cabin on Fintan Island, is still in his possession. His second home was a cabin on Sakejima island. His third home was a cottage on Sakejima island. His forth and current home is a row house on Lima Island. Smoothblade has owned or managed a total of 5 IM stalls, 1 distillery stall, 1 tailoring stall, and 1 shipbuilding stall. He currently owns an IM stall on Lima Island.
