Medusa is a crew that sails the Meridian Ocean (originally Viridian).

History of Medusa

Medusa was founded on 22 April, 2006 by Saltake. The crew Touch of Midas merged into Medusa a couple of days laterdoubling the size of the crew. Other crews who have merged into Medusa are Kool and the Gang, Viridian Voyagers and Fear the Unknown.

Saltalt, Saltake's alt, captained the crew for over 3 months while Saltake was hopping crews. In the middle of September of 2006, Saltake returned.

In December, 2006, Saltake mentioned in a crew news issue, that she was sick and tired of the game, and that she would be gone by the New Year and handed the captaincy over to the old Viridian Voyagers captain, Diabuverde.

In the beginning of February, 2007, Saltake decided to return and received the captaincy of Medusa once again.

By June of 2007 Medusa had left Relinquo Angelus, the flag they had been flying to sail under the flag of Mindfields. Also during this time the crew became and Oligarchic with no captain.

By July 2008 the crew had moved to fly the flag Infierno De los Diablos. At some stage between 2009 to 2010 the crew changed flags to Nihongo Wakarimasen.

Promotion Requirements

You'll become a Pirate if you have a Pirate Badge.

Promotions for Officer or above have to pass Saltake first, to avoid any mistakes made in the promotions.

Needed to become an Officer: Broad Sailing, Bilging, Navigation, Gunning and Carpentry - Officer Badge - Officer Training or experience as Officer. Yes, sometimes I make an exception. You have a 'no', you can get a 'yes'.

We do NOT take fleet officers and senior officers straight away! You get promoted to Officer (first) if you have the needed stats. So don't try asking.
