The /gmute command allowed greeters to turn the greeter chat either on or off.
The /gmute command also displayed the message "Greeter Chat will now be heard/muted while ye are on duty".

The /gmute command was retired as of Release 2017-05-02.
The /gmute command was made available for greeters in Release 2007-12-12.
