Dawgwai
Dawgwai, often referred to as Dawg, is a pirate of Hunter Ocean. He is a senior officer and gunner of the crew All For Rum, of the flag Wicked Peace, and is an admiral in the navy. He resides on Alkaid Island in the Ursa Archipelago.
Dawg is also a pirate on Malachite Ocean. There he is a fleet officer of the crew Sinful Pleasures, of the flag Wild Cards. Currently, he is an ensign in the navy on his home island of Saltstraum Rock in the Lacerta Archipelago.
Biography
He became one with the ocean in May 2007 while watching his real-life wife, Lilmoduinne, play Puzzle Pirates. After criticizing one too many times, he was told to shut his trap and to go make his own character. From the cross between a dog and a gremlin (mogwai), hence came Dawgwai! From his humble greenie beginnings, to joining and leaving of Redder’s Demons and Pirates Nations after not being quite comfortable with either crew, Dawgwai slowly accumulated an officer’s wealth of knowledge and experience. Finding his niche in Sailing and Carpentry, (and his limitations in Bilging), Dawg soon became a valuable asset to any pilly. Following Lilmoduinne’s example, he found himself joining the crew of All For Rum, and his wandering days were over. His home was found... with Wicked Peace!
After signing on as an alchemist with All For Rum, Dawgwai has forged friendships with many, including Dingybeard, Eowyn, and Diablosun (now elsewhere) in the crew; Elfled (now elsewhere), Ladysheena, and Bootyking in the flag; and Dirtywench, Madamepearl, and Keridwen in the ocean wide. With their tips and encouragement, he has become quite proficient at Gunnery and is often called upon by shipmates to load a few, having earned the titular name. Dawgwai also dabbles his hand in poker with mixed results, but always with much fun and bluffing.
Dawgwai makes his home base on Alkaid Island, keeping a manor there with Lilmoduinne and their various alts and pets. If pirates chance to enter Lilmoduinne’s Manor, do read the house rules, lest you become entrapped.
On March 19, 2008, Dawgwai and Lilmoduinne mirrored their real-life and joined hands in marriage, Puzzle Pirate style. Dingybeard officiated over the ceremony, which took place at Lilmoduinne's Townhouse and was attended by various friends and well-wishers.
