Public statement
Johncvang and Icylady captain this crew.
Officer Trainer: Johncvang and Senior Officers.
Crew HQ: Icylady's townhouse on Quetzal. All crew are welcome anytime.
We use PTB (Permission To Board) for sloops and cutters. Ask PTB in crew chat before going aboard a vessel at sea. Not all of these voyages are pillages, and going aboard may affect the ship's operation.
Promotion requirements
- Cabin person: Anyone.
- Pirate: Must have Master in Gunning and Sails, plus a Pirate badge (demoted if level drops down to Distinguished).
- Midshipman: A title given to officers in training. We ask that these officers do not pillage without another officer present on the ship, until they complete their training. Must have some Master levels, otherwise must have been in the crew for a while and have a recommendation from a Fleet Officer or higher.
- Officer: Must have been in the crew for at least two weeks and must pass officer training and tests with one of our officer trainers. Test includes: Battle-Navigation skills, knowing what is maximum damage for ships, charting, recharting at a league point, using the chart magnified to find ships and/or the best route, showing that they know how to team in Sword Fight, and restocking (may be demoted if Battle-Navigation level of Respected or above is not maintained).
- Fleet Officer: Same as Officer except Master Battle-Navigation. They must have been with the crew long enough to have gained our trust. Should own a ship; at least a sloop.
- Senior Officer: A great deal of trust must be had to hold this position. SOs work together on all crew matters. To become SO most every SO must agree to the promotion. Also very helpful if SOs would own ships to help the crew grow; preferably larger than sloops or cutters.
