The leather gloves are one of sixteen bludgeon types used in rumbling. They can be purchased at shipyards. On subscription oceans, this bludgeon may only be used by subscribers.
Most of the large strikes made with the leather gloves will cause easily broken "drop off" pieces, resulting in large return sprinkles. It seems like the strike pattern was purposely designed to provoke a sprinkle-fest. The multirow sprinkles of the gloves can cause wierd shapes, but there are still many other bludgeons with better sprinkle patterns.
The sprinkle pattern is most similiar to the skull rings. Some turbo-sprinklers prefer the glove over the rings because they dislike the fact that sprinkle pattern of the skull rings matches up so much with its strike pattern.
