Vanguard is a flag of the Viridian Ocean. It was founded on 28 February 2006 by Calais. With the joining of Ocean Generals to the flag it began a quick rise to power by taking over Terra, Olive, Napi Peak, and Cochineal islands. After a failed blockade for Dendrite(they forfeited early in blockade because they didn't want to sacrifice a large number of ships for an outpost island) Vanguard's enemies decided to take out vanguard in one day. In October 2006 all four islands controlled by Vanguard were blockaded. Olive and Cochineal were taken, though Olive was retaken the next week.
