Ansel Island is an outpost island located in the Onyx Archipelago. There are four known routes from the island: Adder Ridge, Last Stand Hill, Polaris Point, and Labyrinth Moors.

History
Ansel Island was originally located on the Cobalt Ocean. A rock on the northeastern edge reads, "This island were fashioned by Tamsin."
Ansel I — 2006-02-11, A Song For The Deaf wins three rounds of five to colonize Ansel, after battling Valor and All Hands On Deck, each of whom took 1 round.
Ansel II — 2006-06-04, Ascension takes Ansel from A Song For The Deaf in a largely uncontested 3 round blockade. Ascension later sold the island to Anonymity.
Ansel III — 2006-10-07, Anonymity loses the island to Imperial Margarine.
Ansel IV — 2006-10-28, Imperial Margarine retains control of the island after an attack by the flag Mountees.
Ansel V — 2006-11-11, Imperial Margarine loses the island to All Hands On Deck.
Ansel VI — 2007-02-24, All Hands On Deck loses the island to What The Falchion.
Ansel VII — 2007-08-07, What The Falchion retains control of the island after an attack by the Brigand King Azarbad.
2007-10-06 What the Falchion transfers control of the island to Super Awesomeness following a giveaway event.
Ansel VIII — 2007-08-07, Super Awesomeness retains control of the island after an attack by the Brigand King Azarbad.
Ansel IX — 2007-11-03, Super Awesomeness retains control of the island after an attack by the flags Oceanus Expeditus and Dark Asylum.
