Moving an article out of my user space
The article located at User:C squared01/Collision is "done" and can be released for everyone else to edit now. Is there a good way for me to "move" it to a new Collision page without creating a new article and copy/pasting the source (I see the "move" button but am unsure if I can "move" things from my user space)? Also, I'm not totally sure that it should be moved to "Collision." Do you think it should be somehow incorporated with Ram? Or maybe a new collision page with a link from ram? Thanks for the help. --C squared01 13:39, 2 March 2007 (PST)
- Ye olde move tab works for/to/from all namespaces. Well, since it was the name of the contest and it is indeed very detailed, perhaps a name like collision mechanics tutorial would be good? Or if you feel it's not a tutorial, just collision mechanics. Just plain collision doesn't seem descriptive enough. Nice job. --Guppymomma 17:09, 2 March 2007 (PST)
- It never really took the form of a "tutorial," since I never really gave good advice on how to use the information. So, I moved it to collision mechanics and added some links to ram and sea battle. Let me know if there is more I should do ... although at this point, most anyone can probably do it. Thanks! --C squared01 20:06, 2 March 2007 (PST)

- I would be better able to help you if I knew which "info page" you were referring to. -- Thefirstdude (t/c) 17:29, 7 March 2007 (PST)
- It was for the Vampireking page and the infobox was already added.-- Cedarwings (t/c) 17:32, 7 March 2007 (PST)
Deleting Wiki Pages
I was working on a cew page, and belive it or not i spelled name wrong, how can i delete the page? I have already taken out all the content, i want to get rid of the page, so crew members don't get confused(page i want to delete is called Mysterious ways). -Hellohi
- See this section YPPedia:Deletion. It explains how you can mark a page to be deleted, an admin will then review it and decide whether it needs to be deleted or restored. In your case probably the speedy deletion option. ---- Vorky 07:48, 10 March 2007 (PST)
- Correcting spelling mistakes and typos in article titles can be accomplished by moving the old pages to the corrected name. -- Faulkston 11:13, 10 March 2007 (PST)

Error message while trying to edit
I've gotten the following error message today while trying to edit: "Sorry! We could not process your edit due to a loss of session data. Please try again. If it still doesn't work, try logging out and logging back in." Any ideas on why this happens? I've tried logging off and on again, still same message. --Cecidrake 23:38, 24 March 2007 (PDT).
- Update: I can create new pages but still once saved I can't edit them. Have cleared cache and logged out and in again. Any ideas, i'm a bit frustrated not being able to edit. Ty all. --Cecidrake 14:35, 25 March 2007 (PDT)
- I've seen that error before, but it affected the whole wiki and everyone using it. You might try clearing out your cookies related to the YPPedia (but I'm no technical expert). What types of pages are you having trouble editing? You seem to be able to make edits here in the YPPedia namespace, is it only the main pages that cause the problem? --Darkaardvark 14:57, 25 March 2007 (PDT)
- Ty for your answer. Actually I've just realized that even though I get the error message the edit box is still there, funny thing is that instead of getting the whole editing box I see the page as if I was previewing it. That is the page as it should look like and the editing box at the bottom. Tried editing that way and worked for my user page. So i guess I'm ok. Still I'm gonna delete cookies and cache again to see if it goes away since its rather odd to see that message every time I try to edit. --Cecidrake 21:50, 25 March 2007 (PDT)

Hidden Trinkets
I had added a huge list of trinkets and a user edited it so that is was collapsable. Fine but how do I add more or change ones that I already added? --Microsoft994 11:57, 26 March 2007 (PDT)
- Pirate pages that have more then 12 trinkets or pets are being moved to a page that is typically called <Piratename>/Trinkets. If you edit the pirate's page you will see the section where the show/hide box coding is what the name of that page is called too. -- Cedarwings (t/c) 12:05, 26 March 2007 (PDT)
