Ahoy. I've removed many of the links you had on Shadowlost. It's normal practice to only link the fist occurance of a name within the article. In addition, we generally don't link pirate names unless they also have an article.
I'd suggest taking a look at Attesmythe, Belgarion, or Dracai for examples on clean and simple formats for pirate articles. The blank template at YPPedia:Sample pirate page is a good place to understand how these work.
