Island Designers Box

"Basically, I'd like to see some visual aspect that says "Island Designer!", just like we have a visual aspect that says "Familiar Winner!" or "Some dude with a portrait and gallery!"

I like the concept of having something like that on the page, however I think having a long list of islands isn't the way to implement it. Taking a look at Yngvild's page, I imagine the boxes could become ridiculously long and would end up making the page look imbalanced. Some other pages have the list of islands as their only content. On that note, I made this;

I propose that we stick that under the portrait thingy of the island designer, where applicable, and keep the island lists in the main body of the article. They can work really well as subsection, for example on Silvertooth's page. Thoughts? --Featherfin 14:56, 20 May 2006 (PDT)

I like it. As for pages where the only content is the island list, I would like to see them fleshed out as well as many of the familiar winners' pages. Take a look at Synful for a place where I used the existing template. If we decide to go with this I'll integrate it into the existing template and into the {{Infobox pirate}} ^(Usage) that I hope to see working as soon as we upgrade to the newest release of MediaWiki.

One request. Can you shave off one pixel from the image width so it would be the same as a single portrait surrounded by the one pixel border?--Fiddler 19:21, 20 May 2006 (PDT)

Top bar talk

It's kinda huge like that. Perhaps it could be done with just using the ocean background behind each icon? I'll have to look at this later this week and see if I can give you some real suggestions instead of vague mumbling. --Guppymomma 08:48, 26 September 2006 (PDT)

Symbols

Just rattling off a random list of other symbols that could be useful & fun for folks to have on their page:

• The different house types for housing owners if they wanted to note it
• Along the same lines tinyized versions of the shoppe icons with a different shape background for stall versions
• Along the lines of familiar owner, pet owner. Maybe even ones for each pet type & each familiar type
• Tinyized versions of the puzzle/parlor icons
• Perhaps circle/dot ocean color icons for denoting which ones they consider their main ocean(s)
• Maybe icons for the different ship sizes

Medal colors

I guess those will replace the 18x3 subtemplates? The bell uses those too, and the trinket page calls the palette "olympic" - use that name? --Alfwyn 15:18, 3 February 2011 (UTC)

They're also the same colors as the karkinos trim. Perhaps just "metal".

Also, since we've got a few different subsets of colors, maybe we should name them based on the direction they run across the grid e.g. My_trinkets/primary_BK, My_trinkets/primary_bone, My_trinkets/secondary_metal. --Fiddler 18:20, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
