Page Cleanup
Hoy mate! Thanks for your efforts in helping to clean up some of the pirate pages. Take a look at the changes I've made to Pinkcurls and Phoresta for ideas on how to better improve your edits. In general, link every crew and flag name, even if the page doesn't exist. Also, multiple sub-headings are generally unnecessary unless there is substantial information to be included under them. Otherwise, the page will eventually end up with an annoying Table of Contents box. Keep up the good work! --Fannon 11:16, 30 January 2008 (PST)
Uploading images tip
Hoya. I've noticed that when you upload pictures you keep having to go back in and editing to add the portrait tag. When you upload the image, you can simply stick the tag in the Summary: field on the upload page. That'll save you some time! :) --Fannon 16:40, 31 January 2008 (PST)
Be patient
Ahoy! Please be patient when jumping in to edit a page. If you read the YPPedia:Editors' Code of Conduct there is a section in that specifically mentions that you should be waiting 15 minutes before you make any changes to a page that has been recently edited. Deletion
Just FYI, there are a couple tags we use to mark things for deletion so that admins can easily spot 'em in special categories. YPPedia:Deletion covers the topic. Let me know if you have any questions.
