From YPPedia

Ahoy and welcome to the wiki. Before you continue on with editing pages, it's be a good idea for you to look over a few of our help articles. Help:Creating an article, YPPedia:Vanity guidelines, and YPPedia:Policy. I've marked your article Jessess for deletion as it curently doesn't fit the guidelines for inclusion in the YPPedia; please read the previous help articles for details on that. Also, we don't encourage linking to user pages from main namespace articles.

I hope you enjoy working on the YPedia, and we look forward to your contributions.--Fiddler 05:17, 21 December 2005 (PST)

Ahoy mate ! i am very sorry and did not notice thoughs before this and i will look at them now!

Also, your changes to the pillage article were reverted because the in-game term used is divvy. Even if it doesn't show up a a real word in your dictionary, it is still the proper word to use here.--Fiddler 06:12, 21 December 2005 (PST)

ok thanks i didnt know that... btw i have edited info on a few buildings because the owners and stuff were wrong --32083 06:13, 21 December 2005 (PST)

I'm quite surprise you really check every single Viridian building on YPPedia. Another thing - You don't really have to propose delete your own user page - It's your own space in YPPedia... ;) --SwordFire 06:14, 21 December 2005 (PST)

im surprized... this is a better welcome then i got on the forums... lol --32083 06:16, 21 December 2005 (PST)

VicTerra's Secret

Perhaps "personal attack" isn't the best phrase. Your edit was as follows:

It has appeared to me that some of the customers dont notice that the Terms of Service DO apply in the shop as well!

Granted, I didn't know you were a manager/owner of the shoppe when the edit was made, so it sounded to me as though you were insulting the customers of this shoppe. I still feel the text you added is un-encyclopedic, which is probably the more accurate explanation for the rollback. I'd suggest moving further discussion to the Talk:VicTerra's Secret page. – Yaten talk 10:13, 1 January 2006 (PST)

Makes sence to me i was just mad at a few people when i edited that... Sorry , --32083 10:14, 1 January 2006 (PST)

Sign your comments

Ahoy! Please sign your comments. I've find numerous ones that lack any indication that you wrote them. You can manually type --~~~~ or click the second button from the right to add your signature. --Barrister 10:53, 12 January 2006 (PST)

Sorry for that mate! --32083 19:55, 12 January 2006 (PST)

One more thing

Ahoy! If you're going to create pages for flags or crews like Ebrius Feles, please remember the following points:

  1. Use the correct capitalization for all names.
  2. Alphabetize the various lists (SOs, crews, allies, etc).
  3. Enter at least a brief description in addition to {{stub}}.
  4. Use a space after a comma in a list.

No one expects you to enter the entire history of the crew, but some of the basic information is easily available. --Barrister 03:26, 13 January 2006 (PST)

Sorry i havnt been to sleep in like 22 hours so i didnt really think of the details... --32083 04:32, 13 January 2006 (PST)

Third person

Here is Barrister's wrap-up from Talk:Event E2/Proposal Shikyo: To clarify, various admins have said this is fine. So, let's just leave it alone. --Barrister 10:49, 12 January 2006 (PST) --Yaten talk 13:34, 25 January 2006 (PST)

Confusion in revisions (on user page)

It seems you are a bit confused about user page policies, judging by the revision history of your user page. In short, I don't believe it matters what's in your userpage, as long as two rules are followed: No categories apart from those defined by the language templates, and no links to userpages from main space articles. Your page (before you blanked it) was fine according to the policy, last I checked. --Thunderbird 00:05, 22 February 2006 (PST)

Your signature is breaking the wiki.

Please close the tag in your signature. It's breaking the wiki and messing with the formatting of any talk page replies below yours. --Ponytailguy 10:59, 1 April 2006 (PST)

Opps sorry about that . --32083 11:03, 1 April 2006 (PST)

their vs. there

"There" means a location. "He went there." "Their" is a possessive pronoun. "That's their island." --Barrister 16:57, 1 April 2006 (PST)

Eep got it backwards sorry >.< --32083 17:03, 1 April 2006 (PST)

More stuff

  • Regarding list of known filtered words: Why make a template? Templates are for things that will be used in multiple places.
  • In Cheeky Monkeys, you make reference to the page itself when you wrote, "At the creation of this article". This kind of self-reference is strongly discouraged.
  • For Template_talk:Offensive, the list of Previous Contributors is unnecessary. Lists of contributors are only needed for the content that was stored on the unofficial wiki and transferred to this wiki. New content does not need such a list because the information can easily be seen by looking at a page's history.

Not trying to pick on you. Just trying to bring you up to speed. --Barrister 01:18, 3 April 2006 (PDT)

Okay ill update Cheeky Monkeys and delete the template thing i made? ( and update list of known filtered words back to normal )

Awards and contributions

Please leave those headings as-is. Many of the pirate pages are following a standardized set of headers. "Awards and Contributions" is one of those headers. --Barrister 12:55, 3 April 2006 (PDT)

Sorry , it seems like i have been a pest lately , ill try harder --Jessess 14:39, 3 April 2006 (PDT)

Swabbies

Where are you getting your list of swabbie names? "Hades" doesn't seem to be a legitimate name. --Barrister 13:40, 4 April 2006 (PDT)
