Missing mother, read carefully this below:
I've lost my mother. Find her, I need you to. Days it's been many. It concerns, me is whom. I cannot live without she. Rest will I never. Love she gave. Though not birth. One of many children. Loving is she. For no one more have I cared. And us, she cared for. Needing her we were. We are but not. You I will rely on. To take care of this. Alone on this earth. By some we are envied. She we have adored. By pirates hunted. Not just or, but and. Where has she hidden. We need she. All over we have traveled. She is the. Even searched the stars. Either and or. Leaving us, not so. Please decipher it. Pay attention to all this letter was. And note my last words written.
If figuring out what is written above, you are nearing half way of game. Please think hard and decipher the deciphering to give us her name and where she is known.

Solution
Wendy from Peter Pan.
Step 1. Decipher the letter.
Take the last word of each sentence to create the poem, as prompted by the clue, "Please decipher it. Pay attention to all this letter was. And note my last words written."
Step 2. Decipher the poem - Copy/pasted from Budclare. Wendy Darling from Peter Pan
Mother to many whom she never gave birth. Peter and the Lost Boys.
Children she cared for were not on this earth. They were in Neverland.
Envied, adored, hunted, and hidden. Envied by Tinker Bell and Tiger Lily Adored by Peter and the Lost Boys Hunted by Captain Hook Hidden by the Lost Boys after Tootles shot her
She traveled the stars, or so it was written.
Second star to the right, and straight on till morning.
To be honest, the guild assumed that this puzzle would require a scroll of secrets to aid the hunters. However, we see, that was not the case.
The guild recognizes a great number of entries that brought up good points and will address them:
- The mother was Artemis. Nearly everyone came up with the poem. Nearly everyone came up with Artemis. And while the justifications were innumerable and convincing, there were some stretch marks all around. Most notably, it was Wendy who was "hunted by pirates", not the other way around. Also, the signer of the letter was "just a boy". Specifically chosen to hint towards the "lost boys".
- What about the stars reference? That pointed right at Artemis and Diana. Yes. It did. :P
