Thread Bear is a left-facing, upgraded weavery shoppe on Cranberry Island. It was erected in October 2004 under the governance of the flag Trans-Atlantic Empire. Thread Bear continues the basic Cranberry Island naming scheme of animal and critter related names and puns. This building was named after the large furry mammal, the bear, and is a pun on the phrase "thread bare" which generally refers to cloth and means "worn through" or "well used".
