Uses Links

Regarding the "Uses" links, I imagine that instead of Weavery Bazaar, or Weavery Bazaar, it should be either "Weavery" and "Weavery bazaar" or "Weavery (and bazaar)", with the links going to the different building types. Building types should have their construction requirements and an image of the structure, which means we'll need both links in the uses table. Thoughts? --AtteSmythe 25 July 2005 13:41 (PDT)

The conceit in the commodities table is that we're not listing specific buildings but rather the industry that uses the commodity. I'd much rather have information on both the weavery and the weavery bazaar listed on both the same page, with a link from the main bazaar page and a redirect from Weavery bazaar to Weavery Bazaar--Fiddler 25 July 2005 14:25 (PDT)

Columns issue with multiple oceans

Since it is getting super wide, I propose that we just br=clear after the initial paragraph whenever adding Hunter to something so it doesn't look awful with the infobox screwing up the alignment etc. Unless anyone else has another suggestion? --Guppymomma 07:30, 24 April 2006 (PDT)

No I think that looks good. I might have a play with making a table for the spawn locations, as it would be clearer to show which islands you can bid the commodity from - probably by separating the two spawn types. Will have a little play in me sandbox shortly. --Sagacious 08:02, 24 April 2006 (PDT)
I suggest we replace the island lists with a link to the relevant spawn category like Category:Wood spawns. We're running into some issues with colonization status that sometimes varies between Cobalt and Viridian (usually only a few weeks) and Indigo and Midnight (which is more serious). I've been mulling this over for a while, and that's the only sugestion I've got right now. --Barrister 11:48, 24 April 2006 (PDT)
The only thing missing from the spawning categories would be the colonized markings. Yes, they can be off if nobody updates it after colonization, but at least the info can potentially be seen in a big chunk instead of having to check every island link to see if it's colonized for new traders wanting to bid or whatnot. I'd rather keep these lists. --Guppymomma 12:55, 24 April 2006 (PDT)
FYI, this also ties into my question about how to use the new chart icons to mark islands with markets, but that are not technically colonized. --Barrister 13:58, 24 April 2006 (PDT)

I have created a new way of listing the islands. This has become important in light of different lists of colonized islands for Cobalt and Viridian. I think the new format is a bit more attractive. Also, by using a template with conditional parameters, it becomes easy to add new oceans as we're ready. --Barrister 03:33, 15 July 2006 (PDT)

Ooooo, I like it. If I have time later I'll help convert the other commod pages. --Guppymomma 07:45, 15 July 2006 (PDT)
I could do some too...conversion is fun. --Sagacious (talk) 08:03, 15 July 2006 (PDT)
I edited Raven's Roost for Viridian because it is now inhabited and has a market in which to buy it. -- Polariss 09:48, 22 July 2009 (EST)

Add historical notes section?

While browsing the forums - I've been backtracking extremely old posts, back to Alpha testing times - I found that Wood was actually consumed when repairing a ship. o.O Gunnerfreak on Cerulean 12:22, 4 April 2017 (UTC)

It is important to note that the post says that that was an upcoming tweak and may never have actually materialized. I don't see it in any release notes. Chupchup 18:38, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
Ah, I see. I must've misread what was said there. Oops. Gunnerfreak on Cerulean 19:08, 4 April 2017 (UTC)
